Doll$Boxx is probably one of my favorite all female bands. They are all fantastic and IMO Koga their bass player is probably the best bassist I have seen. I have two of their CDs in my car listen to them every day!

Super cool reaction.👍 You have already reviewed the singer ( FUKI of Unlucky Morpheus ) she appears in many projects as member or guest. The rest of the girls Hana (drums), Oreo Reona (keyboards) , F Chopper Koga (bass) and Tomo-Zo (guitar) are the core of Gacharic Spin, a band with a completely different style... but with the same energy.

Fucking HELL.... Hana and Koga (I love her!) on drums and bass have to be one of the most KILLER rythm sections ever! And Tomo-Zo on guitar... damn, that tiny giant! OreoReona holds it all together perfectly on Keys and Fuki sometimes seems like her body can barely contain her voice.... So amazing!

Oh yes, thank you! That was the DOLL$BOXX video I wanted to be seen by the reactors. This 2018 live in Tokyo Dome was amazing and unfortunately, the dvd is sold out. I hope their label will release it in blu-ray one day. We need more DOLL$BOXX 🙏🏻

This is Gacharic Spin's side project with Yuki as lead singer. These women are SO talented. Hana, the drummer, mesmerizes me so much that I forget how talented the rest of them are. This whole concert rocks. After watching it, it just makes you want to watch it again, to try to taking all the member's talents. None of the songs disappoint at all. So many progressions, change-ups and bridges, but make it come so perfectly together.

They are an odd kind of supergroup in that they are actually an entire other group Gacharic Spin, plus a singer from multiple other bands. And it is the members of Gacharic Spin that write the music, so this is a band that plays one type of music creating another band to play music in a different style. That is not to sell the singer short, she is great here and with Unlucky Morpheus. But usually with supergroups one has a few different bands represented. I guess the closest thing here would be Audioslave or Velvet Revolver in which a band dumped their famous singer, and replaced him with another famous singer. But in this case Gacharic Spin did not replace anyone. (They also once did a tour as Metallic Spin in which they added a male metal singer and covered British metal songs of the 70's.)

They actually played 3 songs. The last song they played at the end is with the fast drums and rifts Sekaiwa Kitto Aiwo Shitterunda 🤘😊🤘

It's funny to think that this band exists because Fuki somehow found some free time in her already busy schedule to sing in another band, record a full album & mini album with them, film videos for pretty much all of their songs, & perform at concerts with them... all while keeping her commitments with Unlucky Morpheus & whatever other projects she has on her plate. Fuki may truly be the hardest working woman in the entire music industry.

Thanks for reacting to D&B again and from what I've seen in some of their concert videos their style can only be described as controlled chaos. They play pretty much all genres and with the same energy and technical skills that most bands would die for. The bassist (F Chopper) and guitarist (Toma-Zo) are considered as two to the best around, with Hana on drums, vocals, growls, and a bunch of other instruments (she has now moved to guitar and a new drummer is on-board) and Oreo on keys, vocals and crazy dancing, this band is at another level. Great reaction!

ThankZ for the Early Great ReactionZ ! Great SuggestZ ! Honor for me Sir Travis , Honour . Furious female band ahah , i mean they mix multiple heavy metal styleZ and have some different insertZ and contaminationZ and go in high bpms . They are technical i like solos whitch are pretty Inspired (love the tapping technic around 5'01"-5'02") and rythm section is defined 👌 the bass drumZ have Gooood PatternZ . The drummeR has high training for doing those rythms and alZo ahah singing . A mention to the ability of the bass player like you have said GuyZ ! Original this Style of Playing with this Music ! Not frequent slap technicZ in Heavy Metal Style ! I like this sort of sincopation , for example one if the many times listen at around 8'00" and it's original , with a rythm that should see a ("simple") classic quick pattern and really interesting the unity rythm column with drumZ ! At Around 9'43" it starts the interesting quick moment with those effectZ . They have really trained technicZ and smart ideaZ i don't know if this is their theorical best melody expression but they are entertainig for sure . Big respect for them ! Talent . P.S. Lady Suzi has the glorious bandana again !

I missed this reaction when it happened, but Doll$Boxx is for sure one of my favorite all female groups. Every musician is very talented. I found them because I was really into Lightbringer (very good power metal group) in the early 2010s, and they share the same lead vocalist.

Thanks for doing this! Looking at the huge amount of incredible stuff coming out of Japan, maybe you as musicians might have some insight into why mainstream rock and metal in the U.S. seem to be stuck. Your thoughts?

Note: Each of the members of Doll$Boxx, became part of Gacharic Spin. Hana is a multi-instrumentalist, playing Drums, Keyboards and Guitar, although you see her on drums most often for now. She is also one of the oldest members of the band at 36+ years. Even so, I love their energy and talent.

Actually it's not really a supergroup at all. Just Gacharic Spin with Fuki on vocals. And though I really really love Band Maid and Lovebites... Koga, Hana, Tomo-Zo and Oreo could wipe the floor with all of them on a bad hair day.

Lead singer here is: Fuki! Beautiful voice. And yes, Travis, if you hadn't seen "Take My Chance", HANA does scream/growl... among other things. And this group essentially became Gacharic Spin... (Gotcha rick) Spin for pronunciation purposes. The keyboardist with GS is Oreo Reona and I think is probably the same girl as in this video... except with blond hair. If I see where you have at some point reacted to them, I'll try to give you more info.
You can also categorize them as a Japanese power metal band, 😁👍🤘

I'm Japanese, but I'm not particularly fond of the Japanese style of music. It's an interesting band with interesting people. Especially Hana, the drummer, who plays the guitar and is multi-talented, is interesting!
