So much respect for Guy as an artist. We talk about singers and then we talk about musicians and Guy is both. His skills on piano, drums, guitar and violin are matched only by his ability to write hit song after hit song, both lyrics and music, to create seamless in-key medley transitions, acoustic remixes, incorporation of rap and hip hop elements to keep his music modern, understanding of electronic synth, midi and digital music, and his deep grasp of all elements of musical theory. Not many can claim all that. He’s worked hard for it too. ❤

Well said lol. 20 years after winning Idol he's still penning those awesome songs.... Had to laugh when they introduced Guy in the studio and his response was "yeah who'd have thought" lol seeing as they refused to play any of his music because he won "a talent show" funny that because they ran hot with Missy Higgens and she won a 'talent contests' hmm must have been his fro then. 🤣

YES!!! so glad you got to react to the Susie & Travis....The ironic thing is this radio station and a few others refused to play Guy's music as they deemed him as 'not a legitimist artists' because he had won Idol and those artists were snubbed by a large portion of the music industry....But hey Guy is sticking it to them 20 years later and winner of countless Australian Music Awards...lol Shout out to Julie for the suggestion....Great choice lovely.

This is up there definitely, Guy always kills it! I remember this live and being excited before it started as Guy not usually a triple J artist! Like A Version has sooo many fantastic gemsover the decades.

How can you be a hater of a singer.Hatred is for child abusers,paedophiles,serial killers for God's sake..You can not like someones music but when did HATRED become the nor,DISGUSTING TO THE NTH DEGREE..That is what is wrong with society today the world is full of HATRED for anything that is not to your liking...Grow up people.!!!!
