Disturbed did an amazing cover of the classic sound of silence and there are a few great live versions, but this one to me is the best because its a duet like the original and Myles Kennedy is perfect for these harmonies. Enjoy!

Have always thought this version featuring the supremely talented Myles Kennedy is the absolute best ever! He is one of the most stellar vocalists out there. Every time I see this it makes me almost cry because of the passionate delivery, the simple but beautiful piano , the powerful rolling percussion ... Could go on with the superlatives forever. This version is absolutely insane. I think it's the definitive version of the song. The Disturbed cover alone was great but adding Myles Kennedy was a stroke of genius. Fun fact: Myles and David stagger the 'S' at the end of their phrases as a tribute the the original Simon and Garfunkel version. Fun Fact 2: Myles harmonises with David by singing above his vocal line much of the time but when David sings "Neon God's they MA-ADE," Myles swaps to harmonise below Draimon's notes to make the phrase stand out even more.

Beautiful absolutely beautiful!! Myles Kennedy has to be the most humble artist out there. I have seen his with AlterBridge and with Slash. Both fantastic. I'm seeing AlterBridge in February so I need to get rid of this Covid which hit me last night. It's affecting my hearing this time. Not impressed. How does a person get covid 2 times after being completely up to date with vaccines? Oh well watching this helped for a while. Excellent reaction
