The MBT-70 in my experience is pretty good in its B.R. But really suffers when it gets uptiered.

Tankenstein once you ace the crew of the MBT-70 the reload time of the missile goes down to 10 seconds. It is only thing on this tank that the reload time changes.

@@_kampfkartoffel2195 flat pen is not very important, it's all about the angle pen. This round is good enough for most things at 9.3, bar some Russian MBTs. But even those can be dealt with by shooting the lower glacis, breaches and driver ports.

@@Bright_Stranger I don't know If It is Just me but i feel Like the Post pen damage is realy Bad on this round Sometimes It Just does nothing. For example a fuel Tank or Driver just eats It without even getting destroyed, yes i know that is somewhat common in Warthunder but It sems to be especialy Bad on this tank

I love how I am unaware of what it had Auto-loader being one it has adjustable suspension?! xD I would guess the footage that has been chosen in this video aren't those that preformed badly but the ones that did perform well, given that the Reality of MBT-70 is that you'll meet those T-72AV Turms and gets one-shotted, there's no way in hell you got too lucky on surviving that many hits in first match basis Compare to XM-803, 20mm is the huge upgrade you're going to get, the Armor is pretty much nothing in the face of APFSDS rounds anyways back to the 20mm auto-cannon, it's the best at taking out tracks and light vehicles while having I would say Not a lot of ammo sadly, great AA tho regardless, I have notice the gun barrels had been buff a bit to the point that the 20mm no longer just takes it out easily, maybe just me, didn't had a lot of success on that compare to previous updates.

The Kpz/Mbt-70 is kinda wrong in wt. the german one should have a 120mm smoothbore canon and the 20mm rh202. The MBTs-70 keeps the current 152mm but loses the 20mm

That's exactly what happend *cries in french main* The high tier AMX-30s are awful because of no stabilizer. That's why I avoid them like the plague and rather play the french light tanks like AMX-10RC and the SK-105

France is where i'm the most advanced in the tank trees but I'm not having fun with the B2 and I need to unlock so much to have a coherent lineup after my current one (the B2, the mars, the 10RC, 13 hot, 30 DCA and other...). That became a chore so I don't play much anymore.

@@paillettecnc I can really recommend making a lineup just of light tanks and SPAA. AMX-10RC, MARS-15, AMX-13 HOT, SK-105 and AMX-30 DCA. That's how I play france atm to get my first Leclerc. Would love to throw in an AMX-32 but they sadly are to high in BR to go with the light tanks

A lot of the US tanks are too high in br, namely these things, the xm803 prob, abrams 10.3, etc, their ammo is terrible for their br, and their armor is basically nonexistent

@@Sam-nv3mv LAVAD is fun but it got nerfed to 60 pen sadly (Soviets were dying too much), but yeah if you want to get to a higher br, go for it, past 10.3 people say American tanks are good

@@LewisB3217I hate that the lav-ad was nerfed. Gaijin just can’t have their precious Russian mbts being penned on the sides. It’s literally a 10.0 spaa that can’t do anything to helis and only can kill jets if they are not paying attention.

the KPZ-70 and MBT-70 both have a 20mm. the KPZ and MBT are exactly the same except for the fact that, the KPZ-70 has a faster reload for regular ammo but slower for the missile, on the other hand the MBT-70 has a faster missile reload but a slower regular reload.

the mbt70 has a better turret traverse than kpz 70 its a mix of sacrifice some reload for turret rotation

The dart sucks against at tier and up tier soviet tanks, naturally. I still prefer this over the m48 super in urban but the m48 is more useful for bigger and snipier maps.

mbt 70 and the german variant.. have some small.. differences.. those 2 tanks where the prototypes.. for the global tank.. in the half of the 60s usa and germany wanted to make.... germans wanted their canon and their engines........ americans denied.. the project get canceled in the 1971......after that .. both countries spawn the Leo 1 ... and the Abrams tanks.. and keep upgrade them from there..... you cant tell that both of these tanks are kids of the old MBT 70................. now .. what bug me.... why you dont have a reset on the range finder???? bind one button.. and you dont have to range find on close buildings.. please!!!

I've been saying it for years: american vehicles seriously need to have their BRs revised. With the nerf to it's APFSDS, this thing could straight up be lowered to 9.0. The whole M60 line could be lowered by a bracket and would be fine. The abrams could probably be lowered back to 10. The HSTV-L could be lowered. And I know goddamn well that the ADATS is not at all worthy of being the same br as the Pantsir.

I regularly Play the kpz and IT probaly has one of the worst apfsds rounds in Game realy Low Penetration combined with incredibly inconsistent damage makes the Tank a realy Bad. And don't get me started on using Heat amo to Fight Tanks Who are covert in reactive amor. Therefore this tank is realy bad and the only to positive Things about It are the good Mobility aswell ass the 20mm.
