Way to go, Shreka, from another new knitter! I've only been knitting since May and it's so inspiring to see what other newer knitters have accomplished. I am also lucky to learn from my amazing friend, the wonderful Emma, who is as enthusiastic in real life as you see her here, (though sometimes we do find her sitting in her knitting chair with needles flying, muttering "a cowl, yes...handspun, maybe...fair isle, DEFINITELY") 😂Such a joy to be introduced to this lovely community of woolly makers, thank you, Corrine and Maggie, for nurturing it!!

Lovely and packed shopcast. Lots to love about it and about all the presenters too. I would love to hear more from Emma as she chooses colors and how to construct her Rhinebeck fair isle and especially her guernsey pattern as she develops them over time. Hopefully, future episodes to look forward to this year.

Ohh, this is my kind of episode! Barb and Shreka, congrats on cleaning up at the fair! One small addition to Kelsey's excellent segment is that I like to vacuum all my cubbies/drawers before putting my yarn away. As for Emma's sweater planning--yes please. I made a Stasis sweater in Jamieson's Spindrift using Eggshell as the main color and Teviot for the CC. So many great blues.

Another great episode! I was at Rhinebeck this year & I had to use a wheelchair to help move myself around. My partner Joe was pushing me & I was like, Stop, Stop, Back up! We had just gone by Corrine! We backed up & I was able to say Hi to Corrine on Sat & then I forgot to take a photo with her! It didnt occur to me! Maybe next year! It was a great day even tho it rained! I only bought 1 skein of yarn at Rhinebeck. It was the DK Rhinebeck Colorway (purple, white, orange, & more colors) from Miss Babs. I have never used her yarn before so I cant wait to see how it knits up! Happy knitting/ crocheting Everyone!!
