I'm glad you addressed the whole glass terrarium thing, it's definitely not good for them. I also got a cute one from daiso which has a frog peeping in the front.

I just found this vid :) Thought I might help you a little - your cute tiny aloes are aloe rauhii, also known as snowflake aloe. Probably one of the most beautiful aloe species that exist :) You should be happy you have those - sadly it's an endangered species, uncommon in succulent nurseries and quite rare in private collections. Take good care of it! ;)

Really liked you're idea of putting a net up to shade the plants, great idea(I think I'll do that in my garden). It bugged me tho that you called them Aloes and Hathorias, because they're actually Haworthias.

Hey! How many times do you water the zebra plant?
@TheWOOTLife8 жыл бұрын
I live in LA so once a week in the summer when its really hot. Once every 2 or 3 weeks in the winter. Watering can very from place to place.

Hi I just subscribed soon as I saw your thumb nail. Likes Daiso, Has same set of pots, likes succlents, yep...my kind of people, lol! I just got into micro-gardening. I now have a moon cactus, an aeonium (desert rose) and a sempervivum(pacific plum fuzzy). I started a couple weeks ago with the hen and chick and propagated/planted the chick and BOOM, I was hooked. Lol. Great video. I understand, sometimes you have something you gotta just show. Check out Daiso's electronics. I got a mini tripod, a smart phone stand and a selfie stick. You can stick the selfie stick in a drawer or something to hold it and do videos from aerial pov. Or use the tripod, just remove selfie stick top and attach it to mini tripod and viola! I would not reccommend the little holder but I did a video on how to make it usable. But still great video and lots of help to newbs like me. Keep up the good work.

OHMYGOD. Saw the thumbnail and freaked out a bit. I have the exact same bear head pot, and I got it from Daiso too... but here in the Philippines. I haven't used it yet because I wanted to have a hole drilled first, thinking the plate at the bottom sealed the hole, but when you went to use a similar pot I went and tested if mine drained AND IT DID. Now I feel stupid for not testing it with water haha
@TheWOOTLife6 жыл бұрын
haha nice! ya pots from daiso are usually pretty good about having a hole at the bottom. Happy planting!

Oh god! I actually replanted my SUPER TINY aloe pup and maybe it would get infected cuz I planted it the very next moment I took it out of the soil. What should I do?
@TheWOOTLife7 жыл бұрын
No you should be fine. Aloes are very tough. Just make sure you dont over water and your pot has a drainage hole. :) Good luck!

DaisoJapan if you live in los angeles we have at least 3! 1 in little tokyo(My FAV) another in WLA and one right up the street in KoreaTown. They're opening all the time. 1 just opened in Texas! I;m so addicted to this store! They have everything and all(almost all) $1.50! I have the little lady bug set. Come in pale green. 3 pieces. A flower pot, a round gourd type and a bigger pot like one. Not to mention the cute animals and fruit ones. All kinds of gardening stuff!! Knee supporters, shears/mini shears, hoes, mini hoes. Like for every full size item, there's a mini version, lmao. But I digress, FIND A DAISO! This place is LIFE, lol.

How & where can I get cactus soil ?
@TheWOOTLife7 жыл бұрын
I got my soil at my local hardwear store. If they have a garden section you can ask if they sold cactus soil.
