This was one of the Funniest Films Ever. Too True about the Crazy Antics that go on Behind the Scenes of a Trashy Soap Opera and it is Arguably one of my most Favorite Films of All Time.

Why did the trailer swap “old farts” with “old twits”? Did the FCC have something against the word fart?

While I'm not sure that the FCC has jurisdiction over movie trailers, if it aired on television, that may the reason why there was a change.

It was by order of the MPAA, which controls violence, sex and other "inappropriate" images in trailers and TV spots for a general audience.
