The 2 pieces you referred to as timing belt covers are actually the timing chain cover and water pump for this engine. It will probably be heavier than the DeLorean but I can use my little scales to find out. Off Thursday so I won’t miss the livestream, especially because our time just changed so I think it’s earlier this week

Just got issues 3-6 Friday last. I think I shall wait until I get up to issue 22 or so to start building unless I find another, better stopping point. I do plan on some detailing as I work as well as some modifications, especially those horrendous vents and some of the engine and gearbox coloring.

That part with small detail is a valley cover and detail could be a pvc valve or a breather valve and that breather part looks more like and egr valve

I'm loving the mini PKE meter, and of course the video. I really want to subscribe to this model, and your videos only add to that feeling, but I've had so many problems with the DeLorean build that I'm not sure I have enough faith in Eaglemoss anymore. Maybe you can prove me wrong, or perhaps Eaglemoss will do something spectacular when they finally get round to replying to my email, but for now I think I'll be sawing my money.

@@WorldofWayneUK Can you PLEASE ask them if they are fixing fog light reflectors not having the holes for them lighting? There is also some fan confusion if we are all getting proton packs or if only some countries are getting them.

Man I love this build!! I'm waiting on Stages 7 - 10 now. It is certainly a stout build. I gave up the X Wing build for this one. The X Wing was just boring to me. Great vid!!!

cant wait to start this part myself. I just recently got my 3rd replacement issue 1 this one I am just going to accept the hood looks great side for some dull spots near the edges of the hood but its not that noticeable. My issues 3, 4, 5, and 6 for February just shipped out this past Thursday for me. Looks like the engine pieces are of good quality. Im anxious to try my left over eastwood paints on the transmission and exhaust manifolds to see if they will appear in scale or not for the bare metal look.

Like the vids as all ways just to let you all know if you don't. I have seen a specials video of the proton packs from eaglemoss. So there is going to be a set of them and a ghost trap pack. It was priced at €39.99 on the video.

All of these parts are metal .. this parts plastic .. this parts plastic .. this parts plastic 😁 must say you do get quite a bit to do with each issue unlike the Terminator build .

I have had to contact the company because for me this isn't living up to how it was advertised. 1st the fog lights don't look as if they're going to light up. And now something from the build that is advertised as silver is actually black ( don't want to say too much because its a later issue that the one you're on). Hopefully they will get back to me soon. I love this build but am concerned some lies may have been told on their part.

@@WorldofWayneUK Good to hear. The working fog lights are even called out as a feature in all the advertising, and shown not only on the website but also on the poster and all the photos in the magazines. Cutting light or sound features isn't acceptable!
