Hmm! That can be challenging for sure! The important thing is to make sure those "pickup" and "drop-off" notes are VERY short ("may", "-or", "be", "you") - if we hold them too long, it throws the whole rhythm of the line off!

GOO is a great exercise for finding head voice-the "G" consonant helps give the vocal cords good closure, and the "OO" vowel helps narrow the mouth to find a light head voice resonance.

When determining the key why is the first consideration not the ease of singing for the congregation?
