I really like how you placed the words. Ren really is on another level. As a non native speaker: I have the feeling that the flashy images really shows how the pain feels - like a spark or a lightning bolt (for example how some people describe migraine)

I think it is his best track. So much poetry in a small amount of time. I live with cronic pain and you are right. There are so many layers to this one. I am 66 and completely understand your reaction and his words. ❤ This song came out n his CD released in October. Song 1. Can't get enough of Ren. He pulled me off a dark ledge a year ago with HI REN. 2 years after losing my husband to cancer during Covid. Ren has a heart of gold ad more talent than any musician i can recall since the eary '80's.

Funny enough my Uncle is a huge Genesis fan. He's seen them and Phil solo every time they've ever been to Chicago. This is the only rap track I've ever caught him bopping his head to when I'm cooking dinner. When I asked him why he liked it since he hates rap he said he liked the beat 😂😂

I think the reason he manages to make the experience universal is that he never excludes anyone. He doesn't day "I had it worse than you". This is my favorite song, right now. I listen to it every morning. The description of himself on the kitchen floor, I can identify with because I also have a chronic pain disorder (though I've always made it to bed or the couch). This release of the song is the lyric video for the song, but the song itself was released a few months ago. All 18 songs on that album are bangers. Listen to the whole album!!!
