The riveter is based on ATI Oni .410, which is basically the full auto shotgun version of the M4 military rifle made from the USA

The Ball ammo was soooooooo busted at launch. I think it still had a 2 shot, but legit you could use this thing like an SMG. The 3 shot range was nuts

they said the same thing at launch though, it takes away the 2 shot and hurts the 3 shot range, don't use it, but playing with it was great. it's place is a shotgun without evaporating pellets -so anything past 30m- it's like a 3 round burst slug that even helps hipfire, and on a automatic spam shotgun.

The Incendiary "Slug" build is something I'm definitely going to try out when going for Priceless camo on the Riveter. Such an interesting approach, I love it.

The ball ammo have a secret, while in tactical stance aim mode, you still get the max accuracy like pellet shotgun mode, even at long range, while with the slug rounds, yoou get the rifle aim mode and its horrible stance aim mode, still busted at long range

very interesting, i've been running the riveter a lot with different builds so far whether its slugs or buckshot but i didn't think about running it with the canted and incendiary together, excited to try that one out

They just nerfed the canted laser on shotguns. It no longer constricts all pellets into one shot, FYI.

I had the Ball rounds on my usual Riveter setup I crafted back in Season 1 and I didn’t know how much of a downgrade it was since I think it was performing quite nicely. 😅

I hope they add the horizontal double barrel shotgun from Vanguard with Akimbo and the German WW2 rifle modification as two separate aftermarket parts. They should also add the Model 1887 and AA-12 and Street Sweeper Shotgun to go with it.

I just got the haymaker aftermarket part, and haven't been able to try it yet. Do you have any preliminary testing on it? It seems to step on the riveter's toes though just from initial impression.

I tested it already and I can say if you use a hip fire build the spread goes to 0.0 so the only thing you have to do is spray and aim.

I'm a Riveter enjoyer and masochist. My advice is to use whatever you enjoy using on the shotgun, be it for trolling or to make people mad that you outgun their MCW with your janky but effective weapon. Make sure you slap on the fun camo to let others know you're having more fun with MW3 than they ever will.

I throw on the flamethrower attachment and use slugs with all 4 other attachments being the best at recoil management and you can kinda destroy with that load out by using the flamethrower for close range and the slugs for medium range stuff
