I prefer the Swat-RFT, not only is it quite balanced, it's one of the only guns you can put a decent custom paintjob on. In Barebones, I usually run this with the Rampage as my secondary, or the Mog-12 if I feel like giving people the one-shot. As for a standard TDM, I'll run gung-ho, team link, quickdraw, high calibur, and stock because that's what I feel comfortable using with an AR class.

This one is actually pretty easy: ICR for long range and anytime you need a scope and Swat for close range. ICR foregrip 2 and damage range means it’s best when you just need to put shots on target down range. Swat has a touch faster rof and high caliber so in short range where you can land headshots the ttk is noticeably faster.

Add a comparison of your versus series inside of blackout. Because they feel completely different in the two modes. I prefer the SWAT every time over the ICR in blackout. But I'm pretty sure it's just a feeling, not actually statistically backed up. I would like to know if there is actually a damage difference or if, say for instance, using Grip II on the ICR in multiplayer, if using A grip in blackout actually makes it Grip II or closer to it. Similarly certain attachments are not available in Multiplayer but are in blackout. IE Extended Mags in blackout can be used on the ICR etc. It would be an interesting wrinkle that i would enjoy. Little error: the ICR7 can still kill in four shots but they have to be four consecutive headshots. Even thought the damage was reduced, the multiplier for the head was slightly increased. Other than that, I feel it’s still slightly better than the SWAT.

I prefer the Swat, I just can't get kills with the icr in core, I use the swat with long barrel, high cal, stock and extended mags and its beast on core. As for HC gamemodes the icr is debatably the best gun in the game ofc.

Compare the Auger DMR and the SDM. Also I prefer the ICR. Double grip is too good to miss out on, and plus the Swat sometimes has really wonky recoil. If the ICR has Extended and/or Fast Mags it would be so much better though.

Swat-RFT 100% when I bought the game it was near the end of the operation where u could unlock it through the supply stream. So I wasn’t able to have it. I could only try it out picking up off the ground from dead enemies, and rom then on I fell in love, only I couldn’t have it. Now I feel like the luckiest person because I was able to get it out of pure grinding for reserve cases, just before operation specter rising came out and they made a thousand items in the game. AND it was the MKII! Therefore this my first choice weapon forever in BO4. Before it was the KN-57

The only time I find the ICR 100% useful is domination on jungle. Specifically when you spawn on the lower side, grip 2, dual zoom and laser sight you're protected at all ranges.

SWAT for short to medium engagements. ICR for head glitchers and long engagements. But I’d go with SWAT since the recoil pattern will most likely get in a head shot. I’m surprised KZbinrs don’t take this into account. Especially if you have high caliber equipped. If you often tend to aim from the chest up the recoil pattern of the gun will show if a head shot is guaranteed from the recoil pattern. It’s what makes the SWAT have a faster killing time. Not just the attachments. Recoil patterns are key to the rules of engagement. If people knew this they wouldn’t complain so much about guns not being good, but COD players don’t look at recoil patterns as much as CS players.

Swat easily wins for me, on PC I have no trouble controlling the recoil so the ICRs biggest advantage is irrelevant. Stock is an absolute must, and it has better iron sights so I can save a point there.

They're pretty even in Core mode overall... and then you go into Hardcore and the SWAT kinda takes a dump on the ICR. Also, SG12 vs Rampart, though the SG12's flashlight is apparently getting a counter in the near future so may need to hold off on that one a little bit.

I think the ICR is better if you're in a gunfight with the swat. You can play different ways then posting up with the Swat though.. Stealthy, run and gun etc. Biggest difference is stock. With stock ICR would be ACR.

Silence is a huge factor for me. So the Swat wins in my book. I have used both and though the icr is just straight up a monster at honest fights, not every fight will be honest. A tougher comparison is the Titan and tigershark. I love the Titan but having the silencer is great to have but lacking quick draw hurts.
