[INTEL] Greetings Cap. A few bits of info for you as you spread your wings as the New Republic: 1) You now have the capability of building ground mining facilities. In order to build them you must first build a New Republic Local Administration (NRLA) building (like the one you started on Coruscant). Once completed, you can build up to 3 proper mining facilities (or as many as you have space for) per planet. [NOTE]: While you can build the NRLA building on any planet you conquer, you can only build mines on certain planets. Take the time to either read each planet description or search for the correct symbol next to a planet to find out which ones are capable of supporting mines (Kessel and Aargau for example). Also, the NRLA building only generates a small credit boost on its own (around 50 credits at a cost of 5000 to build the building), so first concentrate on building them on mining worlds first. If you have more disposable income later, you can plop them down on less significant planets. 2) As the New Republic, you will not have access to new ground vehicles and only limited new infantry units. The New Republic Barracks' (NRB) only advantage over a standard Rebel camp, is that it allows you to build those Kota special forces you love so much, on any world they are built on, rather than relying on the Liberation to build them. They do not produce any other new units that I can remember at this time. You will still need to build a standard Camp (and subsequently the upgrades to HQ and Base) in order to recruit the existing ground forces you are already familiar with. 3) You overlooked a couple of new capital ships you get as the New Republic when you were hovering over Mon Cal. Go back through there or on Kuat when you get a chance and scan though the options a bit more slowly. I promise you'll be impressed! Most of your new battleships will come with varying amounts of the new fighter classes: the E-wing and K-wing classes. The K-wing serves as the bomber and it packs more punch than a B-wing, but is even slower than a Y-wing. Fun fact about the K-wing, you can use them for bombing runs on planets, just like the Y&Bwing classes, if you have any in orbit. The E-wing (as much as you might dislike the look of it) is the primary fighter replacement, and it is as fast as an A-wing but, packs a punch like an X-wing. A few of those in your arsenal and you will wreck any class of enemy fighter! 4) Lastly, you have ships orbiting Kuat, along with a new hero, and the upgrades to your Quasars orbiting Rendili are complete, so don't forget to move them to a proper fleet. The closest ones are Coruscant and Corellila. Good luck sir, and as I can say this now, For the Republic!

Also might suggest upgrading the camp on Corellia for the future. That gives you a place to build better troops in the core and helps reinforce Corellia against future invasions. No reason to not have at least some light factories in the area!

For general tactics? Probably at least at first consolidation. You need to rebuild your fleet and your ground forces. So go defensive for a bit while you build up - go to build up infrastructure. I hink I read somewhere that as the New Republic you can build mines, so any planet you can on them start pumping them out. On Bespin you can build up tibanna gas refineries. I'd think the first phase post consolidation is to build up your income along with your forces as you replace them. Then focus on your supply lines - making sure you have multiple paths from the Core to the Outer Rim so you're not at risk of being cut off. Then take Nar Shadda/Nal Hutta and definitely the Roche Asteroids which gives you cheaper fighters and is nice if you're going to be transitioning to fighter raids. From there, consider neutralizing the Hapes or taking a cuople of thier planets to have a buffer. And definitely consider going for Sullust. IT's one less planet the Empire has to build capital ships at and generate income. Try and work on chokepoints so you have fewer places to defend and can start to isolate the Sun and the Empire and deal with them in pockets. Best of luck!

*Landfall, Rendevous Point Alpha on Coruscant. The one planet that Darren never expected to see as he kept his helmet on and his provided A280 loaded. Blaze Squadron was looming above, Commander Skywalker had told him to go to the planet. The siege he never knew would come had arrived and as the LAAT he stood in made landfall, he came out shooting. Stormtroopers came and were cut down by blaster fire, enemy vehicles were struck by artillery, and there were Jedi Knights on the field. He felt his saber grow heavy on his belt, soon Skywalker was giving orders while the Rebel forces were in a rut. He and a group of SpecOps along with three Jedi Knights were to accompany Commander Skywalker west, their movements were slow, but eventually they had made it to Landing Zone Beta and began gunning down Imperials again. Then the Royal Guards came, force pikes in hand, engaging their forces. One was dead set on killing Darren as his blaster was knocked from his hands, a blow that would've knocked him out was blocked by a suddenly ignited blue lightsaber, Darren grit his teeth as he pushed the guard back with a few heavy handed strikes, the Jedi Padawan locked blades with the Royal Guard, staring into the faceless mask as his blade grew closer to the hidden face. The lock was broken and soon enough and Darren finally cut down the guard, heaving as the Landing Zone was captured. Retrieving his blaster, Darren waited for further orders and was told that with the destruction of the garrison of Royal Guards, they were to regroup with the main invasion force. The rest of the siege was a blur of victorious battles and as soon as it began, it was over. Darren watched as shuttles flew in and blew the imperial symbol off the palace. The Empire was pushed out of their capital, not with clones or droids, but by the sheer will of the rebellion and the worlds that had aligned themselves with it. The war was far from over, but for now he was able to look out on the streets of the city planet where a New Republic Flag rose. His breath became shakey for a moment as he thought of his father and family, but that life was over. A day had passed since the siege and Darren Shel walked through the halls of the Jedi Temple and looked at its destroyed halls. Master Skywalker had sent him to investigate the archives alone. He entered the ancient Jedi library and looked out the ruined holobook cases, destroyed during Operation: Knightfall. In the ruins of it all, Darren took several deep breaths then sensed something...off. A dark presence, them a blade ignited and Darren was on the defensive as a lightsaber pike began to clash against his blue saber, the red blade was evident. A dark armored royal guard with a red visor struck constantly against Darren who did his best to defend himself before breaking off and running. The halls became longer and twisted as Darren ran from the dark guard. He hid in a briefing room and took several breaths. Why was he running? Was he a coward? No, he had seen fighting on Coruscant. He was a Jedi, padawan or not. He had to stand and fight, not run. The Imperial Shadow Guard's footsteps became louder and soon enough he was in the room, the blade of Darren's lightsaber lashed out and glanced the chestpiece of the armor, then knocked away a part of the mask that the...woman wore. A few strikes were blocked until the emitter of the saber was cut off.* "Surrender. You are beaten." Darren heaved. "How can you stand with that saber in your hand, acting high and mighty after my Emperor's death. Damnable Jedi..." *Darren turned her in when he contacted New Republic Security, which was just the Rebel garrison. He had work to begin on beating back the Imperial remnants, but first he needed a moment of respite in the serene hall of the Room of a Thousand fountains. The New Republic could wait for a bit.* (Wow this was a doozy to write on my cell phone. Hope you guys enjoyed)

Fun fact about the E-Wing: when they were first introduced to the rebellion, they were actually worse than upgraded X-Wings and Rebel pilots preferred their old craft to the new E-Wings with their "superior" design. The E-Wings also initially had a high failure rate when they were first manufacted as well I believe, but as time moved on their production was improved and the ship became not-trash.

While it was first written about years beforehand, I think the E-Wing's situation is comparable to that of the real-life F-35 and F-22 fighter jets. On paper, at least, the new planes have a large advantage over previous, older models. In practice, their deployment takes years of tinkering to get them field-worthy, as their greater technological capabilities also make their systems more complex, and therefore easier to break, than the old, simplistic, "practical" models.

(TWO STORIES? In one Episode? Yep, we looked at the Siege of Coruscant in the last episode and what Darren Shel did post battle in the Jedi Temple. Now you guys get to see a more...Imperial perspective) *The ISD Retribution hung over Byss like a massive durasteel shadow over the Emperor's jewel of a world. Everin Shel, Imperial Admiral and now one of the few remaining officers in the Galactic Empire, or what was now known as the Imperial Remnant, stood on the bridge and stared out at how far the Empire he had served had fell. He had seen battle in the Clone Wars as a naval ensign aboard a Venator, politically made his way to the top of his homeworld through passionate speeches and promises of rebuilding after the Clone Wars, and seen countless battles aboard the Retribution after Carida was overtaken by the Black Sun. His family was gone, his wife executed by his men for treason against the Empire, his son had disappeared from his life and although rumors spread of who Darren had become, Everin made sure to ignore them. They were rumors of a disowned nonexistent son. The sound of shifting robes could be heard as well as clanking boots of Stormtrooper armor. Everin turned to face the newcomers.* "Admiral Everin Shel, the Emperor has informed me of the work you have done for our great Empire. It is with great displeasure that I must inform you of his-..." The robed man was cut off. "Fall, I know of what has happened to Coruscant. Though I was not there, I know that we lack an Emperor and that the Moffs squabble for power as this...New Republic rises." Everin spat, as if his words were poisoned even as he spoke them. The robed figure furrowed his brow underneath his red-black hood, "Admiral Shel, I know of your frustrations, this was...unforeseen by our Emperor. However, we still have work to continue. The Empire must remain strong." "And how are we supposed to do that when the leadership continues to squabble for power and battle against one another for command?" "Simple, prove that you can lead. You are a soldier, a politician, a good blend of what leadership requires. And I offer guidance." "And who are you?" The robed man reached to pull his hood down revealing orange eyes that teemed with Dark Side Corruption, "Oh it is not just me, my benefactors as well offer you power. We are the Emperor's Dark Side Adepts, and we seek to reclaim the Empire so that we may act once more. I...am Shrin." "Shrin, right, and if I refuse?" "If you refuse..." The robed man moved to his saber and ignited the crimson blade, "You will meet your maker and never see your son again." "I have no son." "That's not what the holovids show, Darren Shel lives. And he lives as a Jedi, Admiral. The New Republic threatens us with the tyranny of the Jedi once more. We need a figurehead, and we need a leader. We need you." "I do not seem to have a choice in the matter." "Oh you do, it just is not one you can make lightly. Will you be our figurehead or will you die on the bridge of your own Star Destroyer and see how your crew will be taken over by the Dark Side Adepts of the Empire?" Everin Shel furrowed his brow, thinking it over. He had seen battle, he had seen war, he knew that the Empire was the right of way in the galaxy and that no order would exist without it. If he could lead the Empire back to the way it was then so be it, but these people wreaked of suspicion and of power that he could not comprehend. He frowned, "Very well, it seems I have no choice. We have an agreement. I will be your figurehead and we shall reshape the Empire." Shrin grinned, "Oh, you will not regret this. Although we adepts are few in number, you will see what is in store for the galaxy." The robed man shuffled off the bridge. *Everin Shel stood on the bridge of his Star Destroyer once more and looked down at Byss. He had made a pact with Force Users, much like the days of the Clone Wars, and now he had a task to begin. He needed to unify and rally the Imperial Remnants that squabbled for power, or be consumed by them.* (Wooh, Imperial Remnant story. Palpatines Dark Side Adepts came in a lot of different ways in Legends ranging from Prophets of the Dark Side, Force Users that knew the Dark Side's powers, the Shadow Guards, the Dark Jedi, the Inquisitorious...it's a lot. I plan on incorporating only like two or three factions. Don't worry, this won't be a Sith War.)

Good job on capturing Courscant that was tough since some of their units are invincible. To continue to liberate the galaxy your best bet is to link up with your forces at Ord Mantel. Those planets to the North should be push overs and you will clean house. Once the North is captured turn your focus to the East and take out Mandalore. Leave the Hapes alone for now they aren't important. Fortify Couscant we do not want to ever have to lose it. You also got another hero i am guessing hes a turn coat. Focus on that tech upgrade lets see what other ships you get.

Hey Shack, I sincerely hope you'll read this: I'm not sure if you already know or if anyone has told you, but when you have only two enemy units left like that in the battle, you have to retreat your forces back to space then auto resolve the next battle after you drop the units back on the planet (Initiating a new combat instance). The game doesn't see the fight as your 30+ units vs those two bugged units, it sees it as if you clicked auto resolve from the beginning (So all of your ground units vs all of their defenses). It's a crappy way to get around the bug, but you won't loose 15+ units to nothing.

Hey Shack, the Rebels have a reliable Anti-Fighter tank, if you scroll to Muunilinst to the ground production tab. You will see an improved version of the T-1B Tank, and those tanks have special Anti-Fighter weapons on them. Use those tanks in the future to counter any ground fighters you encounter by any faction. To even the odds more or make the Anti-Fighter force more effective, combine them with the AAC Hover tank if you do that then you're golden.

The best *REBEL ANTI AIR* tank is the light tank with the private rank as they've now been equipped with anti aircraft rocket launcher pods. Surprisingly more effective than the hovertanks

Hey Shack, you should try taking Mandalore or Concord Dawn. According to the TV show, star wars rebels, you should be able to recruit some Mandalorian warriors or build their starfighters or star cruisers.

Prince Of Pokemon I got madalore in the early game and can't build mandalorian fighters it's upsetting
