I can tell you have FXAA on. The mod looks significantly better if you set it to MSAA 8X because it smooths out distant laser blasts, so they don't look like red and green pixels. It doesn't affect performance as much as you would think either, mainly because your CPU will bottleneck your performance faster than your GPU will due to the amount of AI present.

800+ million for the Battleship blueprint if you want to have one, but you can buy the freighter and droid control (combat logistics) versions directly from a shipyard if you have the money.

I looked into my Medieval Total War2 Mods Folder once and found 90GB worth of mods; the games only 11GB. A good heavily moddable game will have you reach if not surpass the base game size every single time

Really, really game dependent. I've got over 500 mods for RimWorld, which is barely 3GB and a third of that is source code or previous game version files. Granted, I've heard of people claiming some 1200 mods on that game, which... yeah. On the other hand, Stellaris' mod count is half that and the size is at least 40GB according to Steam. Hell if I know how much else I've got, but probably lots. Kinda wish I could play this again, but my computer's down to one ancient graphics card right now. That, that'd make it explode, even if the rest of the hardware could run it.

This is coolest fucking mod I have ever seen for a game. I used to play the SIns of a Galactic empire mod, it's just a fucking fact that Star Wars has the coolest and best ships and best sound design, Star Wars anything makes every space game 10x better.

What I especially love with X4 is the added immersion with walking around the ship. I just want to be able to fly to a destination and do crew stuff around the ship and just feel immersed. Plus it's singleplayer so you can expect mods, you can cheat or sandbox or whatever you want to have fun, and can save and everything.

Holy cow! This is actually pretty great! I was waiting to see what the first full conversion mod would look like for X4. I only wish X4 had better shield hit graphics. Sucks that the shield effects are non existent in the game still even after all the expansions.

The mod has been around but it finally brought in the full map and the overhaul to the factions. Its fantastic and totally playable now. It was just fun to dink around in before but its more on par with the overhaul for x3 now.

The X4 mod is significantly better imo to the X3 mod due to its presentation and stability. The combat is much better, the ships looks better, the effects are amazing due to X4's built-in glowmaps, and it just runs better without them having to totally gut the combat system like Litcube did (main reason I couldn't get into litcubes mod and X3 star wars was because of how anemic and boring the combat was).

shift+d will teleport you to your ship. If you are at a station with multiple of your ships docked it will give you a list to choose from.

This looks dope but I don't like the new republic, I'm playing a custom startup and I'm loving it. It just takes some time to get used to the controls but its like empire at war, elite dangerous and a little star trek online mix together. Amazing mod 10/10

I checked it out further, I misunderstood the factons (you can start as a natural and not have to be pinned down to empire or new republic. i bought the game and I'm planning it now, I have to say its amazing times 1000, I just have to get the menus and controls down

I really want to play that. Look fun and I've been putting a lot of time into Xwing Alliance, however, I have star citizen to play. I am also worried that I may run out of things to do in the game or worst it begins to crash on me Love the video though and the game as a whole. Yes, it's a full on sandbox. The vong are slightly there right now. Just the fighters and the rest are base game models. The base game has rogue ai that expand and vong are taking their place it seems.

To be honest, I find that mouse & keyboard control works best for this mod...with all the commands involved, swapping from joystick to mouse, etc is a pain and simply just not worth the effort...as I say, mouse & keyboard seems to work best and the control you have is pretty damned good.
