Just a friendly tip, you should always place the Dots pen beneath the auto camera facing the line of sight of the camera. It makes the ghost pop out amazingly when the auto cam goes off a ton. It really makes the dots more useful.

Whatever you do, don't post in the community forums on the game's steam page. If you say anything the dev disagrees with or doesn't like, he'll attack you verbally, ban you forever and then delete the thread so the evidence disappears. He pretty much does this at least two times a day every single day. Just be careful. I myself will never play this game again. Wish I could get my money back for it as well. The dev doesn't deserve it. I've never seen any dev treat people who have bought his game the way he does. I don't know why Insym continues to support him. Maybe he knows, maybe he doesn't. I don't know. But even though I want to believe he doesn't know, I think he might know and just doesn't care. I don't want that to be true but I don't know what else to think.

Yeah, the doctor hits a bit hard. The man was probably just a local surgeon or similar that got roped into a field hospital. It should be noted that the weapons used during the civil war were brutal. Like, we have a notion of big caliber guns but these weapons are firing super slow, heavy lead rounds that rip off limbs, break bones, and carve flesh like someone slapping water. There's a video by Garand Thumb on the tech and its just something so different from modern ballistics.

So, the device that was scanning through channels is called a Spirit Box and it's a real tool used by paranormal investigators. It scans all the radio frequencies at a rapid pace and allows for spirits to speak through it. Since it's running through the frequencies at such a fast pace, getting a word or a sentence in the same voice shouldn't be possible. I've used it a couple of times and it always gives me chills. Alright here I am explaining the audio counter. It was hard to do on stream so here it will be way easier. The amount it says (8 example for most cases) is just how many audio you need to get the achievement. BUT! Every intelligent ghosts and the demons does EVP right? Which means there are more chances to farm up the audio. Although the audio number for the other ghosts show exatcly how many different voice lines you can get, for intelligent ghosts in this case is a little bit different. I don't know everyone for now, I can confirm only Connor from Evergreen to have 4 normal audio and Allen from Polk to have 6. But for achievement you need 8 as it says. And there goes the EVP. You thought on stream that not all the EVP questions have answers but I can confirm that they all does. It's just a matter of luck when you get it. If you still unsure about this, let me say this. When you get an answer for ,,Can you tell me your name?", if you goes back to office and check the voice it says Track No. X, usually 12 or 14. In that case you can suspect how many original audio you can farm up other than the 8 answers to truly max out the game. I got an answer from Connor for it (won't spoil the exact answer) and it was track 12. I also got an answer for the second question in line which is track 6. That made it clear to me both that how the audio counter really works and that all the EVP definitely have an answer. People may call it a bit stupid or baiting but I am sure that this case was made for intelligent ghosts because the hardness to get an answer for normal EVP's (both new EVP items seems like have a better chance for get an answer). I always use the ones that I don't have answers yet and even with that I still struggle to max out Allen on Polk so it makes perfectly sense that they did this lightening for an achievement. For the ParaBox and ParaVox in case if you don't know, both can be used for both intelligent ghosts. It opens up a more deep conversation with both the shadowy and manifested ghosts and you can dig deeper in the lore too with that. AND I am completely agree with you in that that the devs should make both of that two item a recorder to let us review those answers answer because in my opinion they are cooler (ParaBox da best, the answers from there are either funny or creepily cool). I always enjoy your enthusiasm for CSPPI :) The batteries system is an interesting substitute for dying as a punishment, makes your investigation harder, though, would be interesting, though maybe not in the SPIRIT of things (I'll see myself out for that!), is if the ghosts can affect your vision in some way to hinder your progress, but maybe that's more suited to an exorcism type game though.

Fun Fact:Animals can actually sense the paranormal, especially dogs and cats, so if you start experiencing some strange things and your pets are also reacting to these odd occurrences, then you might have something paranormal happen either around you or in your home, but animals tend to only have that type of reaction to evil and demonic entities, interesting right? That's why at 19:33 makes me want to play this game because it is honestly so accurate to real life supernatural activity❤❤❤

I love this game and the vod Insym ^^ If I could make a suggestion, I feel like keeping the lights off in the location (or at least only using a couple of lights at a time, to keep the shadows heavy), would help keep the vibe spoopy. One of the most chilling things that could happen in your previous vids was a light silently turning on behind you, which can't really be done if you turn all the lights on initially.

To clarify on demons causing you to lose evidence when they catch you, you'll never lose hard evidence that contributes to any ghost's progress (photo or audio tracks), though you may lose the XP points you'd have earned for collecting them at the end of the investigation.

Unfortunately, the ParaVox and the ParaBox do not record so they can't be used to collect evidence. They will grant audio experience... but you have to use the sound recorder in an EVP session to get actual evidence. They can be fun to play with a bit, but they mostly waste your time.

I watched the other video kinda late. Two things. Lighthoused absolutely have access to the light as bulbs eventually need to be changed and maintained. Usually there is a walk on out side of top level where the light is. Maybe this has to do with glass maintenance. (I grew up literally a few blocks from a lighthouse.) So yes, it's sad you can't go up the ladder. The REM Pod, I wonder why the dev is calling it an EMF pod. REM = Radiating electromagneticity (made up word) and created by an electrical engineer by the name of Gary Galka. It does detect EMF but I've never, ever heard it referred to as an EMF pod. lol I will admit to have watched one too many ghost hunting shows where they use new equipment.
