I hear you and I'm sending solidarity vibes. We're trying hard here to maintain grip on the small labor advantages we have, but the billionaires are just winning too hard. We need to be threatening strikes and the like before things stop getting worse.

They aren't firing people. They are just allowing unhappy people to find a happier life. Just ask my former Boss about that. The Guy was pretty much every abusive leader clichè pressed into one. Protip: if the people you interview with start bragging about why and how many people they've already fired. RUN, just RUN.

I know companies/positions where the opposite would have applied. If you're not stressed, you're not working hard enough or being challenged enough. Pack your stuff. Also, if you have time to answer surveys, you're not wokring enough.

Every time I hear about something like that, it absolutely breaks my brain, like stuff like that is absolutely unheard of in Russia, an employer cannot use being stressed as grounds for firing, and if they dare, a labor inspection finna tear them a new one, possibly more. How is that shit even legal? Do employees have any right at all in the US, or are they just considered property of an employer like serfs? Do you at least get severance packages or something to offset an unexpected unemployment or is that too up to higher-ups? Jesus Christ, this shit needs to stop, like seriously.

If your "anonymous" survey has a unique link, it's not anonymous. It's also very unlikely to be anonymous if you need to log in to fill it out.
