Well i just have a meeting of 30 minutes at the first hour of the day everyday but yeah, only that no more meetings unless the customer wants one (its not a normal thing)
@SpooglecraftАй бұрын
@@enriclop3044 oh that's the dream, had that at my last job. quick standup at 1100 with only engineers and then just occasionally calling with a colleague or customer during the day if necessary. and the best part; the standup did what it's actually supposed to do, aligning and assigning tasks.

I work in the software company under a massive company with tons of smaller companies under it. Our clients are usually businesses from within that company as well… November is when they usually POUR work and new requirements for us to do in order to reach their KPI and leaves us hanging in December when the key people from the client side takes leave … December is either the best or the Worst no in between

I prefer the video making fun of PMCs. Your recent videos seem snobby; I wish you would talk about solidarity instead of just "haha, working conditions suck for you working class engineers! Good thing I was born early enough to be able to retire and become a content creator." It's not really relatable how you're doing it, just depressing TBH
@Toliman.Ай бұрын
'tis the joke. 1/The depressing part is embedded in the fact staff work through Christmas, with no bonus or break, 2/obviously because senior mgmt are not in the office, or out prepping for corporate events, hence the sweaters for morale. 3/The snippy part is the conceit to comedy. 4/Reality is depressing. PMs are insulated from clients, so they don't get the intangibles or the external sense of being fired for performance. 5/If the business is failing, many people within are usually blindsided because they don't see financials or read between the lines on staff / product / throughput. Engineers might.
@Robert-cc3wrАй бұрын
It’s pretty relatable and you missed the joke. But hey, this content isn’t for everyone
@ML-yn9yuАй бұрын
This has the same tone as his previous videos. I'm guessing you just haven't been paying attention.
@NersiusАй бұрын
How is any of this snobby or lacking solidarity? He's literally saying "instead of being productive we're forced to do makework that makes our products both take longer and be worse, which we're punished for". Most of his videos share this message, sans the direct punishment part that is in this one.
@RhoMancerАй бұрын
All of these replies failed to interact with what my actual complaint was which is that this is mainly just finger pointing style comedy at this point. Just because you think "haha yeah work is bad!" doesn't mean the joke isn't on you. Sometimes Anthony tells a joke about a depressing part about work and it lands because he's making fun of the absurdity of corporate tech, and this time it just feels like he's laughing at the workers who have it much harder now than when he got his job in tech, when companies were handing out bee jays as part of being hired.
