Pete is legit the highest paying and most fair pawn guy Ive ever seen. Ive dealt with a bunch and the standard rule for everything you bring in, save for the very nice high end stuff, is youre getting 1/8 what you paid for it, even if its practically brand new. Pete pays like double what almost everyone else does and takes all sorts of stuff most places wouldn't even look at.

Probably because a large percentage of the people bringing stuff in are desperate for the cash and are not even thinking logically enough to clean an item. They just grab whatever they think they can get some cash for and bring it in. I do agree with you though and they would no doubt get a few extra bucks if the item looked cleaner, but I doubt they care or think about that at the time. I'm not saying that everybody is looking for a quick buck to go score or whatever, and you can see that lots of people in these vids are not quite as desperate but in general I'm guessing that's why. Or people are just lazy.😋

Peter, I spotted a Dokken cassette, that goes in the box with White Snake😉I had 4, 50 gallon totes full of cassettes that I had from over the years, 2&1/2 were from live concerts I attended. When I moved in "96" they disappeared from the moving truck, pretty sure the Movers took them but couldn't prove it, I cried like a baby but was grateful they didn't steal my albums!

If the front bumper is broke you wanna check out the suspension and steering components to make sure they aren't busted as well. It obviously had a front collision. I had a Associated Electric SC-10 and I hit a curb and the chassis snapped in half and the left wheel assembly exploded. I went all alloy after that.

If the Top of the RV model thing is made out of plastic use a 30 or 40 % peroxide developer - the one for hair bleaching. Put the piece all covered up with that thing inside a plastic bag and let it in the sun for 1 or 2 hours, the peroxide eliminates the yellow shade just as it bleaches hair.
