*Why didn't they just lock the hatch? They would have never known they were there and just passed on through. Yea, he wanted to hold that crossroad, and killed a decent amount of them, but when it was all said and done, they barely put a dent in their numbers, and they just ended up passing on through anyway. So stupid and avoidable. Again, all they had to do was lock the damn hatch. But then again, it's a movie, and they needed the ending to be climactic so...but still, stupid . 😒*

First of all, no one cares, second of all if they lock the hatches the germans still know they are inside the tank, cause how the freak a tank can lock it hatch itself so they will still gonna open the hatches, if it locked they still gonna open it cause they have all the tools they need in the trucks.

No the nazis would get suspicious because tanks mostly leave their hatchets open in case of fire inside if they were shot/set on so they would grenade the crap out of that tank so it's a fight or die situation anyways
