(G)I-dle is my ult girl group. Stray kids is my ult boy group. Trust me and check out Maniac, Hellevator, District 9, Thunderous or anything from their discography. They are also a group that self-produces and have developed a sub genre of kpop called mala taste (after malatang for being a spicy soup) because their music is considered spicy and experimental.

Same ults for me, these two groups are so talented and creative, so much variety, and they often write & sing about important topics. Especially promoting the message that you're enough just as you are... just being yourself and not stressing over trying to conform to mainstream standards of what normal should be. Fire rappers in both groups and the transitions are so good in both their music and mvs.

they are very good indeed. as people should know, Kpop is an extremely competitive music industry and it won't be easy any groups/idols to survive even if they are seen and acknowledged as great in singing, dancing and performing. in order to make it big, being talented is only one of the factors needed.

When they first debut with Latata, it was fun for me but I didn't feel like it was dang great. But then I listen back to them when they released Oh My God. It was totally caught my attention and I really like the whole concept: The MV, messages, vibe, lyrics which almost like theatrical. And I found their music mainly produced by themselves, that's when I started to watch them closely. I did not expect them to be that great. So far they really satisfy me with their songs even their B-side tracks. They're one of the idol groups that I really respect.

as far as i know, soyeon is the best rapper of this generation with the fastest sps(girls only), and is aslo 1,57 cm tall. Perfect combo.

i'm late to this video but i also came from a metal/hard rock background before i discovered gidle. i originally found them through league of legends due to soyeon and miyeon being part of k/da and they've had me by a chokehold since 😅soyeon is truly a genius (even if some of my favorite b-sides are by other members) and i have no idea what that girl laces her music with but everything she comes out with is just so good and addictive. another suggestion though if self-produced groups are something you're interested in, you should check out stray kids. their music goes really hard. gods menu or thunderous are some good places to start!

(G)I-DLE's song structure is very creative, diverse and non-repetitive, making it impossible to get bored of their discography.
