But how can others vote against your sovereignty? This is not a vote just for aboriginals is it? If this was a vote for aboriginal people “only” then hell yeah I’d be worried. This is a vote for recognition in the white constitution of this land and for tax payers dollars to now be used appropriately to address the horrible effects of the draconian policies of the past by listening to Aboriginal communities and not just politicians like Mundine and Price lol Aboriginal sovereignty cannot be ceded when only 3% of the vote comes from Aborigines.

@@PFitz539 "but how can" You are either a misled aboriginal or a misled non aboriginal. Someone told you europeans stole their land but forgot to tell you they stole it from other weaker tribes long before europeans arrived, the british were just the stronger tribe on the day. Fact is great inroads have been made in just the last 60 years, the abolition of white australia policy, aboriginal politicians, aboriginal teachers, professors ect. All this voice will do is give socialist politicians power to take away private property which no doubt will include aboriginal private property and that is the real reason for this voice policy.

I mean, like, very altruistic way to see that, when so many abuse and take advantage of the naive apparatus letting people in, granting citizenship and then they wait to serve their parent nation in some way. Usually nefarious. Multiculturalism has failed when you do so with opposing or enemy cultures to keep it plain. We shouldn't even be participating in trade with them and we let their people through the gates. We aren't equal. The world is falling into total war soon enough and race wars/HOLY JYHADS against western interests are well underway and may h ave never stopped since the Crusades. Try millions being put in gulags, hundreds of thousands butchered to death in months (ie Rwanda, Cambodia, China in the 30s), being nuked (Hiroshima). Put into the Siberian winter by the millions to be enslaved for 15 hours per day working or in the Congo tens of millions slaughtered and worked to death. Australians had it easy.

Indigenous or non indigenous Australians please be astounded how the political indigenous activists sit down at their tables everyday and munch bread and butter while they mull over in their minds how they can extract “reparations” (pay the rent) from wheat and dairy farmers. And then happily add sugar to their daily tea and coffee and also mull over in their minds how they can extract “reparations” (pay the rent) from sugar cane farmers. These same indigenous activists happily stroll into Australia’s leading supermarkets mostly everyday and cast their eyes over what can only be described as an abundant display of fruits and vegetables, as well meat products of which at least 97% of the products displayed were originally imported into Australia by emigrant settlers. I played footy with some aboriginal kids when I was young. Nice enough guys and my Dad would pick them up for training and drive them to games. When we were in the under 15's one of them missed the season because he was sent to juvi for carjacking. His excuse was the guy shouldn't have been driving an alfa romeo through the area. When he got out, he drove all of the other aboriginal kids to an away game in a stolen car with a smashed windscreen. One of the other guys on our team had lost his brother in a car accident so his mum called the cops and he went straight back in. My mum worked as a teacher at their school and kept hearing stories from their younger siblings about them cycling through jail sentences like it was a normal thing. No matter how hard you try to help people, it's pointless if they don't want to help themselves. This endless victimhood narrative from the left does far more harm than good.

Warren Mundine nails it. The 'Victimhood' card has been played out! We must all look at the way forward. Advisory semantics crap is boring, just look at the transcript. Only the naive among us would believe the 'advisory' fairy tale. The Solicitors General’s advice to the PM maybe be such but completely collapses under the weight of just two words that can be found in the wording of Voice Referendum proposition. The Parliament can “Grant Powers” to the Voice Body. A wise consideration about the voice is to consider not what they tell you the voice will become today but what the voice has the potential to become tomorrow when the constitution has been amended. In New Zealand the Voice Body in the beginning was to be just an advisory body with no power of veto. In New Zealand 12 years later the Voice Body was granted and obtained a power of veto. Never trust a politician for what they say because politicians can never be held accountable for what they say. When the future for the Voice is not clear and when a future parliament can grant powers to Australia’s Voice Body-don’t trust it so just vote “NO”. Stronger together 🇦🇺💯%

We as Aussie’s, have become idiots. We’ve allowed government too much control and regulation. With 90%+ of our indigenous people speaking against “the voice”, somehow the cards are still on the table for debate?! “The voice” is being pushed by the likes of Thomas Mayo and Linda Burney, who have an estimated asset pool alone of $10 million. Yet Australians can’t get an answer on where the $5 billion dollars on indigenous spending, goes every year! …even though we Aussies have become idiots, I bet you you can work out where some of that $5b+ has gone🫴🫴🤨

Spot on Warren. I support the progressive policies on closing the gap and reconciliation. I was on the Sydney Harbour Bridge in 2000 with aboriginal bros and sister during the historic reconciliation march, which was about working together to unite and deepening empathy and mutual understanding. You say it far better than I ever could. Anything that fractures that unity needs to be resisted. I'm a no voter this time around.

It always disturbs me that any human makes a claim to ownership of any part, large or small of the planet. Occupation is not ownership. There are no people existing who could have had the right to just make a claim that they have mastery and ownership just because that is where they live. Australian Aboriginal peoples originally came from Asia via insular Southeast Asia. They have been in Australia for at least 45,000-50,000 years. The ancestors of present-day Aboriginal Australian people migrated from Southeast Asia by sea during the Pleistocene epoch. They lived over large sections of the Australian continental shelf when the sea levels were lower and Australia, Tasmania and New Guinea were part of the same landmass. They may occupy land but in my opinion, they do not have ownership, no one does.
