Im 63 and I still say the music of the late 60's through the early 80's was the best time for music EVER. No matter what kind of music you wanted it was there for the taking just turn on the radio find what you like and head down to the record shop and buy it - not to mention the huge amount of concerts that used to be going on all the time. Well never see a music era like it again - rock, motown, country, disco the list goes on

Loved your reaction. Ann Wilson has the dark hair-her sister Nancy is the blond. Ann is the lead singer, Nancy is a hot guitarist. I met them in a little neighborhood club in Seattle one night years ago. They played a couple of songs just for fun while the scheduled band took a break. Just having fun. Had a drink w/them and talked awhile. They are the coolest, down to earth, friendly women, and now they are rock legends. Amazing women.

I love the way a great Rock song like this brings out your own musical instincts & your inner Rocker. And you have very good instincts. If you want to hear Heart's tender side, try "Dog & Butterfly". So simple & sweet it always brings a tear to my eye. It also reminds me of dogs I've loved in my life. Affects other people that way too.💙 They also have a darkly romantic song, "Mistral Wind". Very moody & brooding, speaks of obsessive love. Unforgettable.💙 I've seen these talented ladies in concert back in the day. Great show. Their encore was Zeppelin's "Rock & Roll". They were the only band who could cover Zep & I didn't consider it sacrilege.💙☮

Songs of my youth! I know it’s terrible for me to say, BUT there are only a handful of female voices that should be in Rock, but Ann and Nancy, they KILLED EVERY song they ever sang. Thank you Heart for all the soundtracks of my life!!!!!!!! I was looking for reaction videos on this song cuz I was playing my CD’s today 😳😵💫, and you were the first one that came up. I’m glad you could appreciate GREAT music. By the way, their voices have never changed!!!
@sumonjamal16533 жыл бұрын
There's an innocence on this record... Heart's debut album 'Dreamboat Annie' in 1975... lead singer Ann Wilson wrote the song about her first love... Michael Fisher, Heart's lead guitarist Roger Fisher's brother. He was living in Canada to avoid the US Vietnam war draft... Ann moved to Canada to be w/him. The song was inspired from Ann talking to her mom in Washington on the phone, trying to explain her love for her 'magic man' 😁 Her sister, guitarist Nancy Wilson (the blonde girl) dated Roger Fisher... so u had 2 sisters dating 2 brothers. Sadly, the both split up before the 80's...

He loves Heart!! ❤❤ The letter A for Ann, lead vocals, dark hair, that's how you remember who is who. 😉 Because that's how I remembered back in 75!! 😂🤣 LMAO when you said, "I don't trust him." Cuz, Mama knew too. 👍🏽 Ann 100% confirmed this song is all about Mike Fisher, band manager and lead guitarist Roger's bro. Yep, same relationship crap with this band as FM, except Nancy went between Roger and Mike Deroiser-drums and then we hit the 80s... Different band members, corp got involved, etc. B4 you jump into 80s Heart do yourself (and me) a favor and listen to "Straight On," "Dog & Butterfly" and "Kick it Out" and note the differences of this band between these eras please. I knew you'd love them, curious to see how this progresses tho. 👍🏽❤

This is something I never see reactors really address, but I'm curious as all hell: How has the expansion of your musical choices and tastes changed your life and attitude, etc, beyond the aspect of having a channel here? I was listening to most of it from really early in childhood, as MTV came on air when we were 3, and I was also listening to the oldies station and some classic rock. Any shift in my consciousness then was back before I really knew me in the first place, it was part of my programming. Then later grunge hit and my hand-me-downs were suddenly in style halfway through 9th grade, so that was life-altering, but the real shift is that the music and people's reaction to it taught me to not give a crap what other people thought about what I find interesting or most "me," because if there was anything which resembled me in my teens it was grunge, and the people I liked loved it.

Ann, trying to tell her mother, why she is falling in love with Heart's Lead guitarist's brother, and Mama saying WOAH girl. Didn't work, and why Heart moved to Canada for several years as her Magic Man was unlawfully charged with evading the US Viet Nam War draft. Until he was cleared, they became a hit in Canada, going Coast to Coast, and even using the Catchphrase, "All the Way From Canada-Heart" on their American advertising just south of the border.

Most great bands, Heart certainly being one of them, of this era cared deeply about the parts you are pointing out. Tasty little details, and little parts all over the place. It wasn't just a rush to get to the all important "hook" that almost all music anymore is. It was to make the best music possible. Cheers!
