Woodstock in Poland is the largest rock concert, possibly not only a rock concert in the world, which is 3 days long. And usually there are from 500,000 people to 750,000

Ace, to the best of my knowledge, this is the only band that dared to tackle the subject of the Holocaust, and they did it with complete compassion. I give them tons of respect for pulling that off.

oh yeah,.. thats one heavy topic, but they made it work. its one song i dont like to hear live,.. i dont like to rock to it, but sitting down hearing the song...

This show was a bit special :) 2012 Woodstock Festival Poland, somewhere between 450.000 and 750.000 in the audience. That said, they do draw a croud of 15-20 thousand, but that depends largely on how many the venue can take. Every summer since 2008 (except 2020) they've had an OpenAir festival in their hometown Falun, that currently span 4 days.

Warzawo Walz! --what they say at the end of each verse Means "Warsaw FIGHT!" This song is about the Warsaw Uprising of 1944. When the brave people of Warsaw, Poland took up arms and said "NO MORE!" to their Nazi occupiers. The uprising started at 5PM on August 1st, 1944 and lasted well over 2 months. The Nazis unfortunately got reorganized and reinforced and they took back the city and pretty much burned every building to the ground they came across.

Warszawo walcz - we read "cz" like "ch" in english.
Yes , they are from sweden and they started in 1999, from the same concert i suggest : "ghost division" and " 40:1" , by the way : since 2013 the drummer ( not this one , this one is robben back) is hannes van dahl , The sweddish lucky bastard who is married with floor jansen ,lead singer of nightwish.

Wonderful song, great Sabaton, amazing concert...total harmony between the band and the audience.💞

This band is absolutely fenomenal!!!! One of (for me) few bands that are even better LIVE than in the studio (soundvise). Check out from the same concert , Woodstock Poland 2012 the song "Ghost Division" .....and since I think you are from the U.S ....You dont want to miss out on their Official Music video to their song " Devil Dogs" (about the U.S Marines). Oh! About the crowd ot this concert...It was the last show at the Woodstock Festival in Poland 2012 and according to Woodstock Poland themselves there were over 600 000 in that crowd!!!! Nowadays the name of the festival is changed to Pol and Rock Festival. I attended it once.....and it was one of the most crazy experiences ever!....And yes. You are right. Sabaton are from Falun Sweden....where they every non Corona year are hosting their own Metal festival called "Sabaton Open Air"

Warszawo Walcz! means Warsaw Fight! But he puts Warsaw in the vocative case, so he’s giving Warsaw a personality, a Human Identity itself; think the spirit of the city, it’s very soul.

And that is the great thing about reactions, you learn music you normally won't hear. I've discovered new bands that are amazing, I'm a metal head. But I've discovered some hip-hop, and Jazz bands I never would have found on my own, don't get me wrong Metal is my jam, but widen your horizon never hurts :-) I've been to my number of Concerts and Festivals in Europe, and I can say that Sabaton are so good live, that unless you are a top tier band, that know what they are doing live (forget studios because some artist are just way to happy to play with the "studio magic" its live you'll see what a band is made off, the chemistry, the crowd interaction etc.) you'll not experience a better band live. Sabatons songs, are about Historical events, mainly battles, famous last stands, heroes some are known to "all" like D-day, Red Baron. Others are unknown heroes you haven't heard before but deserves to be known to all. Like Inmate "inmate 4859" about a polish man that went to auswitch on purpose to find out what happend there (nodoby knew about the horrors that went on auswitch at that time). Or "night witches" about a all female bomber squadron in WW2. Sabaton also have their own history channel kzbin.info/door/aG4CBbZih6nLzD08bTBGfw Where they together with a historian (Indy Neidell) who is an amazing storyteller. They talk about the real story behind the songs, you should check that out. Perhaps react to some of a history and then follow up with the song, that way you know what it is all about.

you should listen to Sabaton - En Livstid I Krig (A Lifetime Of War) live in Gothenburg, its a very emotional song in Swedish so I suggest you turn the subtitles on so you can understand what they're saying. The song is about the 30 year long war and there are 2 versions of the song, The Swedish version is about Swedish soldier's point of view and the English version is about the outside's point of view
@carinalundstrom75664 жыл бұрын
Sabaton has had several changes in the line-up, the lead singer is Joakim Brodén. Check out Carolus Rex, that album is made both in Swedish and English. Suggestion; En livstid i krig (A lifetime of war) live in Gothenburg. The lyrics are not the same in both versions, react to the Swedish version with captions on

in the opinion of people, it is said that the singers who organize the concert at the stadium are the world's greatest celebrities, such as Madonna, Freddy Mercury or Michael Jackson - and here? imagine the largest stadium in the world - how many people can it accommodate? 100? 110 thousand? have you ever seen so many people live? ok, now imagine 2x and not 3x, but not 4x, but 7x! Yes!! 750,000 people were there !! I was there and played with them - it was a magical time =)
@marethyu75933 жыл бұрын
They don’t draw hundreds, they draw maximum occupancy for EVERY venue they play at and those tickets sell out almost same day. Sometimes within a few hours of going live. They do music for every nation for every time period with respect.

They're going strong right now!!🤘 And their crowds are quite big, in Europe (ok this show in Poland is a bit over the top..😁 ) . They play in bigger venues in Europe than in the U.S. Check out their official music video "Devil dogs". The footage is from their last tour in the U.S. Great reaction and greetings from Sweden!🤘 🇸🇪

Hey Ace!! I don't know if anyone mentioned, but Sabaton's drummer is married to Floor Jansen. This band sings about famous people or events from wars. But, they celebrate the humanity of each subject, never their ideology. I'm linking two very different Sabaton styles. One is an animated story video about badass Russian women from WWII. The other is a live performance about the Red Baron, the German WWI ace pilot. Night Witches (Animated Story Video) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4qzoGuwedCpr5Y Red Baron (live @Berlin) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZ7Uh6OpoNd_qbM

Science the Sabaton Community told you most of the important facts, i just recommend some Videos by sabaton... 1. Screaming eagles official Video, 2. Bismarck official Video, 3. The last Battle, 4. Night witches animated history version, 5. No bullets fly animated history version. I hipe you will get into some more sabaton soon, it probably is the best band to do reactions on because there is just so much stuff to explore etc.

I'm not asking you to react to it but there is a video that a fan recorded, from 2009, of Sabaton playing in Strekowa Góra which is only 8 miles from the actual battlefield. Not as big of a crowd, but it's the first time they got to play on the "actual" battlefield. On the 70th anniversary of the invasion of Poland no less. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXy1YayHn7RqaJI
