Tim, his friend Chris Chatham and some others ( I forget their names) wrote this one. It's one of Rob's favorites (mine too).

I didn't mean to make you cry - but the first time I heard this song, even before the video came out, it was one of the ones I had stop and process, because I needed the reminder to make memories that I'll want to remember later. And I want people to keep hearing it, even though it's from their previous album. So thank you very much for the reaction, and I glad it spoke to you too.

This isn’t a sad song at all. I used to play HF going into work conference calls, on a particularly difficult morning,this is the song I picked to have play at the beginning of the zoom. That morning I listened carefully and put my early retirement into motion. The last year 1/2 I have traveled to 8 HF concerts and one more to go. I’ve rebuilt friendships, strengthened relationships. No more. Could haves, should haves, what ifs. This is a life anthem!!!!!!

What a reaction! These guys can get us every time. I never really thought this was a sad song, though. Boy meets girl, boy gets girl, boy effectively flips off the big, bad boss and goes home to a birthday party. Seems pretty happy to me.

A little reflective melancholy, perhaps, but not sad for me. Just a fabulously enjoyable reminder to be mindful enough to make conscious choices about your priorities. This is one of my favorite Home Free originals that almost never gets reacted to, which is sad! It ought to be on the radio! LOVE this❣️🎼🥰🎶♥️

Sorry Mortius I LOVE what Home Free does to your feels because I've been there done that. Tim is a great Songwriter , he's the "Cryer" of the group, He's the sentimental one and it usually shows in his songs. He never shy's away from showing his vulnerability soooo relatable. The Bond these guys have is 'nother level !

It’s been a long while since I’ve seen a reaction to this song. It is so underrated. Thanks for bringing this one some well-deserved attention! Loved your genuine reaction, but this song is more an affirmation and reminder to make good memories. It gut punches you, definitely, but it actually isn’t sad. If you go by the video - he made the choice to go make a good memory.

This one does have a great message and tugs on the heartstrings! Very sweet reaction showing your emotions. Prior to their video, Home Free asked their Patrons to submit photos of memorable moments we never want to forget. I try looking for mine, but I know they received way too many to hang up on the strings. They said they would keep them for another video one day, or something. This is a very well-written song, and very catchy, too!

I like your great reaction. This originally written by Tim has again such a beautiful message. You should never forget what is important in your life. It's not always about work, money and materialism. Making beautiful memories is also important for later. They can keep you going. Home Free once again not only lets you hear it here, but feel it. HF can let me cry, laugh, bring back beautiful memories etc when I hear them. I don't have that with all groups / singers, even though they sing so well.. Then I hear it, like it, but don't feel it.
@kimsmeltzer60832 жыл бұрын
high emotion is practically a Home Free trademark. I cannot sing along to this without wanting to cry, as many times as I've listened to this it still gets me every time. darn you, Tim Foust et al! how dare you make me feel things!

Man this song is so good. Chance in lead means you are going to CRY. Haven't you figured that out yet? well maybe not EVERY time..but yeah...Chance has a voice that is built for creating a lump in your throat. And Adam with that Beat omg...it's one of my favorite beat lines I think. You definitely stop what you are doing to listen to it. What a presence they create with this one! I don't think there is a problem with getting a emotional. I would suggest if you do get emotional with the song..analyze..breakdown AFTER ya play it. That way you aren't all emotional reaction pause rewind rewind do it again again and your videos would flow smoother too. Don't worry about getting that way. Even some of the songs that aren't really supposed to make you cry make me choke up because they are SO GOOD.

Copying and pasting from a previous video… I have literally never missed a VoicePlay upload since I started doing reactions. I appreciate the passion for my reactions and VoicePlay’s work, I really do. And all comments help the algorithm. But, when one of the first comment on a given video is telling me I need to watch something completely unrelated, especially when there is historically a 0% chance that I DON’T eventually cover it… idk. Just kinda rubs me the wrong way. And please don’t take this as me yelling at you specifically, this has been happening for quite some time, your comment is just the first one where I decided to actually say something. I just kind of wish people could find something to talk/comment about on the video they’re actually watching, instead of just talking about what they wished I uploaded instead.
