what a beautiful home!! I love the colour scheme and really love your porch! What a fabulous idea to also have half of it screen off.

Really amazing how much living space their porch gives them & connection with their beautiful surroundings! ❤️

I think if downsizing from an actual house or home it would be challenging but, if moving from say a tent or off the street, living and working on your build wouldn't be so stressful.

I really like your videos, they are always inspirational. I'd love it, though, if you could include the measurements in meters/centimeters for your international audience. 😊

Great suggestion & happy to do this! We appreciate the kind feedback ❤️

It's a shame you had to struggle. In that can make you have more drive to finish and get where you need to be. I'm so glad you had Dad and you finished🎉. Do you work as a carpenter now? Maybe down the road you can do something different with the floor. Or put a nice big cozy rug down. The house turned out very nice🎉. I hope it's all you dreamed of 😊. JO JO IN VT 💞

I treasure the fact that I will inherit a lovely home from my mother, but I am always fascinated with RVs and Tiny Homes. Thank you for showing me that there is a Plan B if I somehow lose the family house.

@@TinyHouseExpedition Appreciate the reply. Out of curiosity, assuming all amenities are equal, what do you feel is a cheaper prospect, a tiny home trailer, or a bus conversion?
@TinyHouseExpedition10 ай бұрын
@@WatcherCCG good question! A big factor is the cost of the bus itself-$8k-$75k. The building cost for a super simple bus conversion can be very low. A DIY tiny house these days can cost as little as $25-35k for a smaller one (from scratch or finishing out a shell).
@WatcherCCG10 ай бұрын
@@TinyHouseExpedition I imagine getting a solid old-school steel-frame bus (which is just the smart move for safety) is also more expensive, too. Well, I'm looking forward to that shuttlebus you mentioned. Cheers.

So cute! Question: what if you need to replace the washer/dryer?
@TinyHouseExpedition10 ай бұрын
That is a great question! They would probably need to deconstruct their laundry/utility room 🤔

When the outside living erea is bigger, then the tiny home !? It's a huge problem. If it was room for the outside erea ? It should go in the house itself . Just saying

Thanks for feedback. We don’t do this style in our main tiny home tour content (here’s the full tour of this house: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHK8dHRnjLWofsUsi=-hAdu-AeL9WjFZ8e). But for this series, we’re trying out this format to make the building insights more digestible.
