They ‘can save their apologies’: JK Rowling blasts 'Harry Potter' stars for trans stance

Author JK Rowling has revealed she will “never forgive” Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson after they publicly advocated for transgender rights.
Ms Rowling last week responded to a tweet that suggested Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson were safe from the author's wrathed.
“Not safe, I’m afraid,” Rowling tweeted.
“Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women's hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces.”
‘To Di For Daily' podcast host Kinsey Schofield joined Sky News host Rita Panahi to discuss the latest on JK Rowling.

I remember at age 14 “borrowing” my brother’s Levi jeans, putting my long hair under a baseball cap, and pretending to be a boy (in the early 1960’s). EXACTLY!! I thought i was gay from 13-18. All i dated were guys, then i found a great girl and we got married and stayed together for 12 years. After that, i realized i was bi...but like women more for relationships. If i had been given a choice to "change" something when i was 13,14,15,16 etc.....i would have COMPLETELY REGRETTED DOING SO. Why? Because KIDS DO NOT KNOW WHO\WHAT THEY ARE until later. I'm 47, my 17yr old daughter is gay, my 43yr old gf is bi and her 21yr old daughter is bi. We all feel the same way. At 12, I tried looking like a boy---Giving myself masculine hairstyles and dressing like a boy. When I was 13, I considered transitioning. 14 years old and I was getting ready to ask my parents to transition. At 15, I was glad I didn't transition, because I grew out of that phase. I'm 16 now and sometimes I'm a tomboy, other times I'm a girly girl and I'm GLAD as HELL I didn't transition. Adults wanting kids to transition is DANGEROUS, because kids at some point will go through a "Gender Dilemma" phase, but grow out of it eventually, And by the time they transition, a few years after they'll grow out of the Delimma and regret transitioning. This message is to all the transgenders: _Years from now, you'll regret transitioning. You'll want to go back to your original gender. These actors are so talentless that they have not done anything worth mentioning 20 years after JK Rowling gave them their chance. All they can do now is endlessly virtue signal on social media and insult the one woman who has given them fame and money! APPALLING!

How dare those smug, bratty, entitled "actors" who would be NOTHING without Jk Rowling, criticize her personal views. Emma Watson is nauseating in her behavior, and Daniel Radcliff is ridiculous. Good for JK, she didn't back down to the cyber bullying from childish, ignorant puppets.

I understand your point of view, but please keep in mind that every individual holds the right to criticise another person. If the criticism is justified or not if a whole other discussion, but fundamentally speaking everybody has the right to criticise.

J.K. has always displayed in her writings an outstanding and almost heroic effort to represent all people as equal, whether it be the capacity to be equally good, equally bad and if "bad" equally redeemable. Almost no cultural taboo went unrecognized in her writings and never was there a time in which any taboo mentioned took a front seat. In fact often like in the case of Snape where acting as Harry's secret guardian, the prejudices leveled against him often led the reader to a "shame on you for your assumptions." mentality. Dumbledore was revealed to be gay, but the brilliance of how it was presented led to nothing more than a, "Oh so that makes more sense now." moment. His integrity, intelligence, humor and character remained the same throughout the reveal process. That is what "equality" looks like. Those who wish to remove the rights of one group to elevate their own and live by separate standards. That would be "inequality." To Ms. Rowling, thank you for standing up for equality for all. To those who cannot see it, have no worries, if this brave woman can be attacked after what she's contributed, someone will be after your rights soon enough as well.

I really hate when haters argue Dumbledore's gay doesnt even add to the story cuz JK never wrote it, just piggyback on LGBTQ 😂 i hate it when haters feel that being Gay should be your personality or your Deal like you are special because of it smh

@@Peachu_n_Goma_Home I mean, that was my point as I'm not a hater. I pointed out that J.K. made Dumbledore a heroic inspiring character, his private preferences, meaning nothing and that people should be measured by their character. She's being "attacked" as she's stood up for "Women's " identity and rights, because another group feels attacked by an action of self affirmation. I don't know if that was what your response meant as it was a little unclear, but wanted to clarify my own position.

Why, cause i have owe her a debt of gratitude to be in one of her movies. Especially Daniel Radcliffe, did her agent or any senior in his entertainment business didn't taught him to not to have a beef with someone who has a big contribution in his career ?
