5:00 I disagree with the assessment that Luda made a simple mistake and his intent should matter. He looked down at his chips, counted them and put them in. His action is complete. If Luda missed Wesley's raise, that's a personal problem, not an etiquette problem

I have been loving these series and especially the commentary. BUT, I feel you are negatively biased towards Wesley. I can't see the same typ of commentary be said if this was for example Garret or Andy calling the flop with 87. These sort of speculative flop calls with potential backdoor draws happen all the time, everybody does it. Now Wesley did it, got lucky and got max paid. It should all be fine. Also I believe Wesley is good for action and live poker overall. He is a character that lots of people enjoy to watch AND play against. Remember, he is not a pro, be nice.

If the commentatorhas any comment to make about questionable etiquette it's Luda asking to make his bet bigger that is the issue not anything Wesley did. Speaking of Wesley, that little teenage girl "whatever" face and head shake he does followed my announcing max value when everyine knows he could have got all of the money at every point in that hand is hilarious.

@Marco Wagenbrenner I wouldn't say getting 80% of your stack in is considered minimum value; in fact Wes did extract MAX value with his decisions, as it was Eli who chose to slowplay. Flatting Kings and playing 4 ways is a recipe to getting minimum value or even losing all your money.. lol

yes a 400BB pot it’s absolutely minimum. the fact he thought that it was a small loss is honestly a testament to eli being a bad reg

Commentator is completely wrong. Wesley did nothing wrong. Luda made a proper bet. I wouldn't even allow a correction in a home game. His additional comments at the end seems biased.

Nobody seems to realise that this is not a random game. This is a private game, you need to be kind of accepted to play. So what Wesley did is not cool. You guys never played in a game like that. Thats why you have that mindset.

rules are -- no string bets. One could argue that Luda was angling. He doesn't deserve special treatment.

Sour Eli. Minimum value? He got you to call on 4 streets and you had no idea where you were at.

Wes's edict is only embellished by his lack of the poker culture unspoken laws of benefit of the doubt. Wes is very aware of the dog eat dog mentally it takes to not be over run and be the one putting the pressure on his opponents, the reality of it is they are not friends , he would probably never use his free time to call or need any of their company, plus he strikes me as a person who uses class status to put each individual in a certain category of value and intelligence. Be it that is his homelands teachings and it is reinforced every minute of the day. Plus the most valid explanation to his personality, his very wealthy for his age any age but he is young and outside of the poker room , people kiss his ass a majority of the time, he is intelligent enough to succeed so early in the average life of social goals and achievements. So the manners and graciousness is not needed here in America. He visits his homeland of China he must respect his elders not matter what his bank balance is.
