If you notice @1:43 Fontaine is drinking Anaconda Malt Liquor, which is a call back to the movie Black Dynamite. This "drink" was also a plot device to make black men impotent, which fits the narrative of TCT and the grand scheme of reducing the procreation to move on further with the plan of assimilation.

Pretty good concept, unexpected execution, like the name of the film already spoils the theme so the suspense is mostly in what the characters do with what they already know. it falls flat though, when you realize a pattern, the characters go to a place, find clues by accident just following their instinct, screw things up and leave... from the beginning to the protagonist going to Slick following clues to the van they find in the middle of the road, the elevator, the chicken place, the beauty salon... they all follow the same pattern and just when Slick gets stuck in the van thats when I drew the line, it became tiresome after that and the moments that the characters get out of a situation using force or the movie skips them just like if it were a gag or it tries to be funny it just becomes annoying, like the guys not noticing Silck in the van, Foitaine taking care of the scientist he stole the suits from and the guy the protagonist threatens to pull him to the ma in charge while being inside a bag.... its like trying to be a comedy at moments it shouldnt... still an original film but it could have been way better had they taken care of those details and taken themselves a little more seriously.

Can anyone help me because I can’t get over this plot hole. We we see Fontain die the first time… how then the next day Jamie fox and the prostitute remember him dying ? Is there no memory wash that happens every night? Then wouldn’t people in the town remember people dying then come back the next ? Like how long has this been going on ? Seems like a while with how many clones they had ready to go

The movie is a modernized ode to Wizard of Oz. The scene When they are in the club is suppose to be like the movie Wizard of Oz or the later film “The Wiz”. You see here where Slick Charles is The cowardly Lion (hinted at by the large fur coat collar worn by SlicK. Also, the old drunkard outside the store says “he”s off to see the wizard” when Tyron clone gets abducted. 👏

I don't feel like writing again, so I just copied and pasted my comment. I love this movie but I am scared too. My mom use to say every movie and story got a little truth to it, it's all a matter of how far they stretch it. Think about Black mirror metalhead( robotic attack dogs) police are using that tech right now, Arkangel( parents tracking kids use tablets, air tags etc), and Joan is awful why did actor's join writers strike? Getting paid one day salary and AI having unlimited usage of their likeness. Netflix(Streamberry) stay throwing out clues. This movie spoke to a lot of real world issues plaguing the black American community like hair relaxers causing cancer, our food containing toxins, black women allowing themselves to be over sexualized and lack of attention when black women truly go missing ie Nixon to Yoyo You know what my friend Chester, Fontaine and slick Charles all have in common? They are expensive. You? Dime a dozen. Just a regular ol' ho. This movie was very deep but will be ignored or called woke.

I really wanted to love this film. But it had so many negative Black racist stereotypes in this film. The characters are drug dealers, drug user, forty ounce malt liquor drinkers, pimps and prostitutes. To poison our communities the government put poison in fry chicken. To enjoy the film you have to ignore all of this negativity

Yea obviously the directors perspective of the world, which is the point of all movies. It's just that this perspective is a bit ridiculous. The dialogue was a bit annoying and not funny to me. Don't get me wrong, I grew up watching movies like Friday when I was in High School, so there is no hate on movies like this. I always loved movies like Harlem Nights and so many others. This movie just annoyed me and I didnt even finish watching it. The thing that got on my nerves the most was kind of nitpicky. When they were all holding guns, they all had their finger automatically on the trigger. I wonder if that was on person too. I will say that the aesthetic was also copied from movies like American Gangster.
