Aye, as a Bradford lad I have to agree that Bradford Council have made a huge amount of appalling mistakes in my lifetime. So many beautiful and historically significant buildings were demolished, the old Swan Arcade, the original Kirkgate Market, the old exchange railway station to name a few. We have also suffered the blight of refused planning applications followed rapidly by fires that resulted in the loss of wonderful buildings. Pity poor Bradford indeed.

That's what happens when the local people dont take civic pride seriously, and also vote for socialism over and over, and over again, which encourages the twisted-minded inherently-wealthy philanthropists (various well-known banking families for instance). They are who fund any form of government (local or national) and are behind this. Keep the poor, as poor as possible and provide them with things they don't need. The inherent wealthy become more wealthy, so the general public can never better themselves. This is also done through warping the public's minds via woke thinking. Bradford city council I have worked alongside, and their ultimate policy is 'everyone must be pleased', via ticking every box on the list, if that isn't fulfilled, nothing gets done. The amount of effort they put into that purposely-done bureaucracy is absolutely unbelievable! All the public's tax money is wasted on meetings, consultations, and pipe-dreams (designed not to ever come to fruition). Private funding from extremely-rich philanthropists actually produces what they want, which has little to no use to the majority of the general public.
