Hi Dela, there are ways to move the plate cover (for the outlet near the countertop) forward so that it is flush with the backsplash...you should check with an electrician about it. The kitchen looks really nice, thanks for sharing.

I would like to give you some information for the future. The right way for all cabinets to be installed is with a 2" fillers at all ends that touches a wall. If the cabinets was installed properly, you would not have had any future issues with the door.
