Tim is kinda insane. He creates the beat and melody in his head, then put it into a digital audio workstation like the ones he shown in the video. Creates a beat out of that melody he got either from his head humming or from someone else giving it to him. Finally he gets the beat done and then he has to write the beat/melody and compose it so that it can be played on an instrument. If any other guitar or musician seen what he did, they would be like "why the fk did you do all that work? Sound dumb on paper but once actually played out on instruments its perfection". lol Usually musicians create the song starting with the instrument that they will be playing the song with not the other way around lol...

That Omnichord sound reminded me of Lil Wayne and Eminem’s Drop The World. I wonder if that is what was used to make the beat to that song? I’m sure you could get that sound a number of different ways, but that’s just what immediately came to mind for me.

Thanks for doing this. And yeah, the song is already so well made, and then he plays the guitar parts himself so well. Love it too. :) Edit: “I thought that was a rabbit.” lol 😂 … yeah, I had to look closely too. :)

Could agree more about the way they somehow manage to mix in so many "lead" ideas: They're masters of leaving each other space to shine so that, even when there's a lot going on at once, every note has it's own space.

you'll really enjoy CHIMERA from the same album as Playing God. Check the guitar playthrough version out. It has a lot of different nuances and genres in just one song, kind of like a Chimera has a lot of heads. lol

Chimera is the only other song in that album that uses acoustic sound like Playing God with nylon strings.
