😘😘😘. Looking back on much earlier videos you have always had talent and have been able to steal our hearts with loving moments of one of the kids expressing themselves with so much confidence even though we may not understand all they say. Wilder is so bright and they way he uses inflection in his voice to get his point across is so amazing. Always a smile and then placing his hands on your face wanting your full attention and not in an angry way.......no wonder there’s a baby fever among your neighbors and friends. No one like Wilder and joys he brings to each video and I’m certain all agree that he will always allow you to capture him through the day. Even seeing him run eagerly up and down the hills attempting to do what you ask of him .....it’s a joy to watch. He always finds a reason to pause then gaze at something not seen before or reminds you of what you taught him and then his face just glows. Sometimes I forget what the video is about cuz I get infatuated with what’s next coming from him or the others. Though you have much to do NEVER forget to take time and go out exploring then capture the surprises on their faces just like that “mushroom “ hike. Seeing nature and all the surprises is even in your sister face and the recent video surely captured that look which must be in your DNA as in your kids. Aaahhh yes the load you received in the rain......boy you do need a small tractor or a side by side and resurfacing for a better driveway and a way to the house you’re working on. Am certain if you reached out to a company something could work out especially before winter. Have you fixed the rat problem yet?? They’ll tear into those bags quickly contaminating the feed. Sure need storage they can’t get into among all you’re storing in that barn. Always another job to add to the long list you have already trying to save money and improve the entire homestead. Lucky. To be able to pause and soak up the joys your sidekick and adorable best bud gives you is worth it all. The joyful happy world of little man....Wilder. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Regarding mold: we had that problem in Chicago and Viburnum, Missouri. Our solution: dehumidifiers for the Basement and air circulation, windows open whenever practical. Avoiding solid shelving and storing things too close to walls. Just sharing our experiences with you. I think of you often and am glad for the progress you made. When Art was cleaning out the root cellar I wanted to come over to help, it's one of the few jobs where you can see success immediately.

It scared the life out of me when you uncovered those windows in your basement. I live in England where we have a lot of brick and stone buildings with cellars [basements] There is always ventilation provided even if it's a simple grating, otherwise damp is a big problem, and sealing stone walls can also cause damp. The stone needs to be able to breath so over here a lime wash is used.

Papa would go buy the feed in 100 pound sacks and then my sister and I would put it in the pack house...one day he had a friend stop by and they were tinkering with his truck but we needed to feed up, so, we each grabbed a bag and slung it up on our shoulders and walked it down to the pack house and began our chores...Papa's friend wanted to know just what he was feeding us as we only weighed about 115 a piece..lol

Farm girls grow up tougher than most. I remember thinking one day I was gonna keep up with my dad and carry four 3-string bales at once, two in each hand, like he did. That's 200 lbs per hand and 400 lbs total. I never made it above 1 in each hand. He was a farming rockstar in his younger days.

What a great video! Art, it is increasingly clear how leaving your medical job is doing you good- I see new creativity and joy, and the film of the creation of your fermentation course with your delightful, talented sister was entertaining, uplifting, really well done. I wish I could send you an Angel or magic potion to help you stop judging yourself so harshly- when I see a loving Daddy spend the day working with his two-year-old, “success” is not measurable in terms of “amount of work done”, you all are already doing so much and blazing trails all over the place. You ARE Success Personified- please broaden your perception of how wonderful you and Bri and your kids are. I love you guys SO MUCH- yours, Grandma Jenny

Hi, You might want to think about getting dexter cattle instead of the full size. Dexters are half size beef and dairy cattle from Ireland. They live on grass, finish on grass and live on marginal land (efficient browsers.) They also have an even temperment so kids can handle them.

OK that edit on carrying that feed into the barn was great LOL! Also I think a freight delivery company should have better equipment for unloading items for their customers, even if it means leaving room in the truck for a piece of equipment. Not everyone, as you know, has a tractor or a fork lift, but orders in bulk. You did great, so did the shocks on the van LOL.
