I was a roofer for about 5 years. If that was a metal roof at the time I think I know what happened . Most sneaker type shoes will give you great traction on metal roofs unless they are wet. But the moment you get off your feet you will begin to slide.

Forgive me for although tragic, one can't imagine why two 21 year olds did what they did. Tumbleston was the last name of one of the victims and they tumbled to their deaths. A complete and tragic case of coitus interruptus and total disregard of having safe sex.

What a way to go. My husband (firefighter) heard of a story from another cop in the city he works for they were doing a local sex solicitation sting at a local riverside park and when the undercover cop went to arrest the guy who was looking for a “john” to pay for sex in the outdoor restrooms the guy had a panic attack caused himself to have a heart attack and he died on the way to the hospital. The undercover cop then had to call that guy’s wife and explain the whole situation. I can only imagine being that devastated wife to find out what awful things your husband was doing behind your back. Felt really bad for the lady.

The husband didn’t just turn gay. He was born gay. He was afraid of anyone finding out so he marries a female. He still has his attraction for men so he goes on the hunt. Some facts of gay men. There aren’t sexually attracted to boys. They look for partners older or very close in age. I have 2 dear friends and each one has a son who is gay. They don’t know each other but they are the kindest men. It’s a shame these men have to live in fear. I don’t think anyone chooses that life style. Why would they when they know they’d be outcast.

Awful. I remember a situation that took place in New Jersey in 2010 that was kind of similar. This guy got caught in a park during a sex solicitation sting and died after getting shot by the cop during a struggle for the cop's gun. He left behind a wife and 4 kids. I just felt so embarrassed for his wife and family.

Some have done this for photos but even intimacy can become in the moment a pursuit of adventure or challenge and the young can feel quite invincible. A long time ago I told my mom about reading that a couple (not the one's mentioned) died having sex on the roof and they both fell off and she had a good old chuckle 🤣 I was a bit surprised by my mom's laughter because of the subject matter and the fact she was nearly 80 yrs old. She said to me you just have to a good sense of humor because on one hand it's very funny and on the other it's tragic. How does the police officers tell the family about what happened to their love one's ?

They tell them the truth..apparently they climbed up there, was having sex, fell off the roof into the street where a taxi driver found them. We found their clothes in separate location. Tell what the witnesses might have said..tell them they don't know if drugs or drinking was involved. Sorry for your loss..I mean there's no way to sugarcoat that.

I remember when that happened. The small building I worked in was shown at the beginning of the video. The big building in center of the shot is the main post office. Many people drove off the parking deck and died where the mail trucks are. There is a lot of homeless in the area, so many of they have been found dead around there too.

Metal roofs can be slick even without being wet. When I installed mine, I wore slip resistant shoes, but still slipped on the dry roof a few times. This was on a 4/12 pitch. That roof looks a little steeper.

My dad as an officer had to deal with a traffic accident. It was some prominent guy with not his wife. It was terrible and stressful. He said there are many deaths from this. The guy lost his ..due to impact.
