What I can not understand was why they had her completely covered, how was she supposed to breath? It would seem that a burn victim would be on oxygen however, they had her face covered. This is what I found most unusual about the whole event and I've never heard a explanation.

I imagine you’re just as effective as this guy when relaying information to 911. 911 dispatchers dispatch emergency responders immediately, they keep asking questions to try and gather more information from the caller so that they can pass it on to the responders. The more clear and factual information they receive the faster the responders can do their job when they get on scene, instead of asking a million questions that the caller could have already answered on the phone.

We will never know what was going on with Anne, what caused her to hit a house, back up and speed down the road so fast, breaking into the house at the end of that road. Thank God there were no kids out there or adults walking. It was so frustrating hearing the 911 caller answer the questions….he was terrible at explaining the situation. When Anne sat up, I saw the burns on her back. She looked so confused :( She must have suffered terrible burns to her lungs. She was stuck in that burning car so long and there was so little air to clear the smoke and fumes from the car and the house. Horrendous way to leave the world! RIP, Anne Heche.

I can walk to where this happened. I know that a few of you are thinking emergency personnel took too long but in fact they didn't. The woman that lived in that house narrowly got out with her pups and other pets. Five minutes earlier and she would have been dead as well. Something just isn't right about this whole thing. I'm just a nurse who doesn't mind putting on a tinfoil hat if i need to, but even the facts of this case doesn't add up. It didn't help that the caller and the 911 operator sounded like two little kids with useless banter, wasting valuable time. Why did no one pull her out?? You can hear plenty of men talking? She sat up on that gurney, i SAW him push her back down, and the bag zipped up. She was doing a film on child trafficking. In light of what we know today about trafficking and people in high places, nothing is impossible. Something is rotten in the hamlet of Hollyweird.

The child trafficking film was completed prior to her death. It aired 09/17/2022 on Lifetime. If she was murdered due to the film (and i do not believe this is the case), her death didn't prevent the film from airing.

I thought I heard in another bloggers page that she was still alive at the hospital and then put on LS because she was an organ donor, and she passed there...so I don't think the fireman "zipped any bag". She was under a sheet, plus before she came driving through there,she was at a storage unit or something of the sort and ran into the building there, but just minor scratches on her car, but fled the scene. Driving while under the influence of drugs can make you make a lot of poor decisions.

She was dead before she left the car. She had smoke inhalation and was without oxygen too long. She was in that car for almost an hour before they got her out. She wasn't alive on the gurney, it was just muscle memory when people die sometimes they sit up.

People complaining about all the questions the dispatcher asked don't realize that the police, ambulance - or both - were already on their way. The dispatcher was asking all these questions so the police, firefighters and EMT's would have a much better idea what was happening when they arrived. Not mention the excellent questions the dispatcher asked as to whether the house was on fire, if anyone was still in the house etc. Also - the man responding to the dispatcher did a good job. People also complained that he just "lost it" and was "useless. No!! I've really come to wonder about people's ability to process information after reading comments such as "some people's" comments here..

When something like this happens, there's a lot of confusion at first. It can take a few minutes to gather what happened & what's going on. Watch a few police body cam vids, even when the cops show up on scene, they have to question numerous ppl & ask the same questions more than once to get a clear understanding of what's happening. Civilians aren't trained at all to assess crisis situations so it's not unusual to make mistakes trying to give info to a 911 operator during an emergency that u were unprepared for.

Most people don't understand the way the 911 calls work in the City of Los Angeles. Many times 911s from mobile phones are routed to the California Highway Patrol operators. They are then passed off of the respective city. The Fire Department operator that is screening the call is typing up the call as soon as they know that it is a call that requires the fire department response. They also notify the Los Angeles Police Department due to the traffic collision. This ended up being a suicide attempt. They ask as many questions as possible because they may never be able to locate/interview the witness again. Also think of the liability if the 911 operator didn't ask the bystanders to pull the victim out of the vehicle. This isn't Mayberry RFD, this is a city of over 3 million people.

Ppl who've suffered extreme burns & fire are often placed into burn wraps by EMS to get them to the hospital. It's not a body bag. It protects from infection & further injury. Even as a precaution, as EMS are not doctors & don't have the know how to properly assess how bad her injuries were.

Got to be careful with stuff like that. It can be seen as you purposely placing a hazard thare for people to hit. I know a guy who put a big ass rock in the corner of his yeard to keep people from cutting the corner and rutting out his yard. Drunk dude comes through thare nails the rock rips his car In half throws him like 100 yeards down the road in to the woods killing him. Guy with the rock is still fighting the family in court and it's been 4 years and it's cost him thousands. Probably better to just let people cut the corner and fuck up your yeard.

Ikr! I had a friend I worked with at a restaurant! Early 20’s…. He fell asleep under the wheel & drove (Monte Carlo!?) into a house too!!!! We found out later he was a diabetic!!! He was worse off than we knew!!! He eventually lost his eye sight & died (before he was probably 25-30!?)! It was so sad… he had recently had a set of twins too!😢😮

I remember watching this live, didn't know until later who it was. She was a great actress, very sad ending to a tumultuous life. The 911 call was brutal, but the dispatcher was updating the emergency vehicles in route so they're prepared upon arrival.

Her vehicle was clearly hacked and she was sacrificed, she was alive, and she knew damn well what was happening to her and that's why she was trying to escape.
