I went to the same school as Wynonna and she was the real deal. She drove a 55 Chevrolet and was rumored to wear homespun clothes. I can still remember when she performed in a high school talent show and she blew everyone away.

Naomi was just as beautiful on the inside. She gave me one of her cookbooks at a Walmart in Marietta, Georgia where she was signing copies of her new book. She noticed me and my 2 daughters shopping. I thought I was imagining her looking at us. When we were leaving the store, one of her security guards stopped us holding one of the cookbooks and said Naomi wants u to have this. I still treasure this book. It was one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. It meant the world to me on that day. Naomi possessed an intuitive and kind spirit. Such a special human. I am saddened by her loss.

The guy that pulled over was sweet! I met Naomi after a concert, when celebs would come out behind the building and meet fans waiting after the show outside. She was super sweet, beautiful, and she smelled great LOL. I was a kid and she shook everyone's hands, did autographs and pictures. It was sad to hear about her death. Wynonna was also their and shook everyone's hand and was super nice. You will not get this with any celebs these days. You didn't have to pay for a meet and greet, and I am sure they were tired after their show in Las Vegas but came on out to greet the fans. I mean actually talk to you, get your name, where you came from, and thanked you for traveling and buying tickets to their show. Humble people. This was back when they were super popular and not one bougie, stuck up attitude. Thank you for the memories of my family, singing your songs.

Celebrities can’t do that anymore as far as fans go. There is so many crazies out there now that they just can’t take chances like that anymore. I bet her real father was pretty pissed off about telling her that’s not my kid it’s yours after he found out the success that she had, that’s my kind of karma! And btw that’s absolute nonsense about her being so young when she had her and they couldn’t bond BS

Actually Naomi was a senior in HS when she found out she was pregnant. And YES, it's true when she told Wy's Dad he wanted nothing to do with her. She did marry another guy she had known and they had Ashley. Why never knew any different she thought Ashley's Dad was also her real Dad. Naomi never told Wy about her real Dad until years later. I believe if I remember correctly. By the time Wy mustard up enough courage to reach out to her real Dad, he was sickly and died a short time later. So she didn't get the time she probably wanted to make up for lost time. I know that was a source of real problems in the Mother daughter relationship. So YES Naomi and Wy were constantly thought of as sisters rather than Mother daughter only a 17-18 year age gap.

I just 🙏🏻prayed for you . I have depression to😢. THIS IS THE BIBLICAL WAY TO BE SAVED: There Is only one God, in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. ONE God. Humans are ONE person ( in three parts) The body, soul and spirit. Three parts, ONE person. The Bible says that we are all sinners. As it is written: There is none righteous , no not one. Romans 3:10 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.Romans 3:23 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6 For the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23 (The word death in this verse means eternal separation from God in hell). Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Isaiah 1:18 Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and that He was buried and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures. 1Corinthians 15:3-8 In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:14 For by grace ye are saved, through faith; and not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 I do not frustrate the grace of God, for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians 2 :21 Realize that you are a hopeless sinner and trust in Jesus shed blood on the cross to pay for your sins. The moment you trust in Jesus and only Jesus, you are saved.

This whole thing is,weird because I was slightly depressed yesterday and decided not to even go out the door. Naomi Judd came to mind and I wondered if I could ever get that bad. Then I remembered her on ALL the shoes and talk shows being this beautiful vibrant woman. She had a light and fantastic glow from within. I thought what the hell happened? Then I kid you not-I heard her speak and say it was the drug for the hepatitis NOT childhood trauma that caused this. I knew of interferon but had never looked it up and was going to do so today. But this video popped up as soon as I turned on YT. This commenter has confirmed exactly that interferon can and sometimes does cause major depression. Sounds like it damages dopamine receptors. At any rate RIP Naomi Judd. You made the world a better place and if there is a heaven you are there right now.💖💖💖

I’ve survived 2 suicide attempts. I can’t explain how much pain there is. The person who ends their own life isn’t thinking about others. The entire world is blacked out to a person experiencing complete hopelessness. I’m sorry I tried because it hurt my family but depression doesn’t care about family. I’m not going to judge her actions because I don’t know her pain. I’m so sorry she felt that this was the only answer. Rest in peace, naiomi 🙏🏽✨

I can read between the lines in your comment . I see a couple words out of place & I know why. It's sad & it's one of the reasons we keep it bottled up inside & don't tell many people. It just fuels the anxiety because you're scared if you let it slip somebody is going to tell it then Human Resources is going to show up & your door. Then you have even more problems. I know it because I'm one of those people & I won't ever tell anybody my personal business anymore. We have to suffer in silence & it's a crying shame. I've had so many bad things happen to me and the worst thing right now is I lost my son last May 17th when a drunk driver ran over my child & they do anything to her either. I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel, I don't even see the tunnel anymore. I just don't care anymore, my baby is gone and never coming back. 😔

Oh gosh, Lamont…thank you for visiting the property where the Judds have lived, telling us parts of their story, and the compassion with which you spoke about Naomi’s death. Even though I’m not a country music fan, I read Naomi’s autobiography, “Love Can Build a Bridge”, years ago. I was fascinated with their journey, partly bc I once lived near Lake Barkley & Kentucky Lake (Land Between the Lakes), which is one of the places Naomi and the girls lived when they were very poor. I was poor also when I lived there. The beauty of the lakes is so peaceful! If you’ve got to endure poverty, being in a setting like that is some comfort. The Judds seemed relatable, & still do. It hurts my heart to think of the utter despair Naomi must have finally come to, and the shock & grief her daughters had to endure. I hope they’re doing better now. I saw that you visited a couple of graveyards in Paducah, KY. There’s a grave I hope you’ll be able to visit and talk about eventually, the grave of Fate Marabel. He was a jazz pianist & bandleader, (also played the calliope) making his living playing on the steamboats along the Ohio & Mississippi Rivers. Born 1890, died 1947. You can still listen to his jazz band on here on youtube! I’d never heard of him when I came upon his grave, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah. It bears a musical staff with notes. What a life he must’ve led! Would love to see Fate featured here on your channel if you can swing by Paducah again sometime. Thanks so much for your hard work!

This came out when she first died. As far as I know they never discussed the writing on her hand. And Larry said she never came home early when she was with him on tour. I wonder what was in that suitcase because it could of been a changed will. I guess we'll never know.

I do understand what Naomi Judd went through...I'm 55 years old, and due to Childhood Trauma, was diagnosed with Major Depression, Anxiety, and Bipolar Disorder T2. Mental Illness is a terrible illness, that people are still stigmatized as being "crazy". It's difficult for doctors to diagnose patients, with many like me and my siblings, suffering from numerous disorders at the same time. Medications have to be started at low doses and gradually, "tweeked" as the patient adjust to treatments. Some meds work...some don't. Oftentimes, you have to take numerous meds for various levels of your disorders, and hopefully don't have allergic reactions from them. In between, you're mentally and emotionally suffering...so are your family members. Suicidal tendacies are often part of it. I pray for others who suffer from this. Thank you for your respectful story of Ms. Judd, Lamont.
