Another great video Hayden helping another farmer with his wheat. Im sure getting the adjustments right to find a happy medium can press your last nerve. I think it's pretty awesome your Mom and Tessa run the combines too. I'm thinking that if you both end up living together and getting married your Dad can get another combine to have Tessa as part of the team! Thanks again Hayden for sharing another great video. Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA.

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder" Hayden, I hope you and Tessa got through the separation all right. I remember what that is like, and it's difficult to say the least! Thank you for your conversation about the combine wear and tear. And about the heat causing difficulties in threshing the crop. Thank you again for the ride along Hayden ♥️ - Hope

I remember this farm from last year. How wonderful that you were able to help that farmer. With your girl gone, maybe we'll see more videos? LOL. Oh, good thing you explained what Cody was doing because that looked really weird. Is he a permanent employee now or just year to year?

Without a doubt your best video yet. On the 5th is was riding around in a Case 9250. Thank you for all the explainations

Watching you pull up that rock reminds me of another benefit of farming in North America in lieu of areas of France and Belgium where farmers are bringing up unexploded munitions from the world wars, unfortunately occasionally fatally 😢

Hayden, MArkus here - and I'm an absolute dog-person. Or, I was... AFTER my two cats moved in, I started believing in the 'Universal Cat Distribution System"... Have a look! It is NOT Tessa's 'fault'. 😁

The amount of material going through those machines is enormous. I do agree heavier material should be used. I think you are correct in thinking the hot spell caused a tightening in the wheat heads. I am certain you made the best adjustments possible for the conditions.

You can grease those fittings headers on the combine, just have to reach in there ……..

Also seems after Covid the quality control of ma Hines made and parts made is lacking I have found. But I’d also say it’s slowly getting better than it was right after Covid. So hopefully things will get back to how it was.

Engineering is the short answer to your comment about how fast combine wear out. You would not believe how much time goes into parts only a certain amount of time. For example batteries if the warranty says 24months they are made to only last twenty four months and one day. Unlike in the 40,50 60 where things were engineered to last a lifetime of the machine.

An x9 will do in a hour what we use to do in a week in an old jd55. It produced a whole 100 bushels an hour. Thats the difference between a 1950's machine and modern one.
