Approach the Lord with open hearts.
It has been said that "10,000 difficulties do not make one single doubt". When we approach God, we can be tempted to hesitate. We need to be able to ask the questions that need to be answered. This asking is not the same thing as doubting.

The story of Peter who was walking on the water toward Jesus, but when he focused on the wind and the waves, Peter began to sink and Jesus had to come to his rescue is a perfect example of the word "doubt" which is intermittent faith. Therefore, we need to put our trust steadfastly in God and ask God to lead and guide us according to His will while we focus on Jesus' words, "... and behold I'm with you always until the very end of the age." Mathew 28:16-20.

Yeah that was a really good scene! When he cries out “Lord save me”, I feel like we all have had those rock bottom moments where we cry out to the Lord like that, and he reaches out His hand to redeem us

I know there are a lot of biblical inaccuracies in The Chosen, some of which is necessary for making a cohesive narrative with deeply developed characters and some is unnecessary but added for dramatic effect like the infamous “I am the Law of Moses” line (completely made up and theologically problematic but it lends itself to an absolutely power play scene), but things like the embellishment into the Gospel seems okay to me. Like we have the passage where Peter walks on water and I think, if done with a lot of thoughtfulness, one can extrapolate what some of the words that the apostles said. Expanding on their reactions and such. I mean the Bible wasn’t written as a synopsis on the apostles or Jesus’ personality so we don’t have any of those details. I know a lot of people don’t like it but they are trying to balance scriptural accuracy with the flair and making Jesus realistic. I think they’ve done a pretty good job this far!

That describes my personal search for my particular mission for Christ. My capabilities? How? I have paved a journey. But... Why? I'm more than 4 - or 20 - or 50 - years old. And I continue to seek. I have answers. I have peace. But are my answers real...answers I can rely upon? Your message is so important for me. I ask these questions. You let me know the questions really matter. I have a very close friend who is Jewish and she asks questions about Christianity and she always thinks 'gotya'. I had to tell her that every question she can come up with has already been asked and answered. There is nothing she can ask that has not already been answered in the Magisterium. The church used to have the churches Lawyers called the ' devils advocates ' who challenged the church on Everything that could ever be asked and the challenges have all be answered. Even when the church assembled the bible that ALL THE CHISTIAN WORLD USES they studied the books and selected the ones that had a common thread "TRUTH" . The books that contradicted Jesus and His teaching were rejected as fakes. Anyone can see them just go online if you think there is something being hidden from you and there have been hundreds of thousands of books written on them about them and challenging them as well.

My daughter was in 8th grade in Catholic School when her Religious Education teacher asked each student about the status of their faith as a lesson (😲) and then proceeded to label each child as a believer, an agnostic or athiest in front of the class! She was very disturbed by this and came home and told us what had occured. I told tell her that the questioning is what the Apostles did and that it is human to do this and doesn't mean you can't believe. It is an act of our will to believe, not an emotional or intellectual decision, followed by becoming knowledgable about what our Church really teaches vs. what the world or poor spiritual leaders are portraying. Unfortunately, her teacher mislead the young questing minds of these 13 year old youths and put them on the path of disbelief. We have been lead astray by many in the Church. We are children who have been spiritually abused and lead astray by errors in teaching and liturgy in the name of many teachers and Priests. May God have mercy on them as the souls cry out for truth.

Sometimes the tiredness provides the means to total surrender. It can be so difficult, but try to remember that Christ asks us for our faithfulness, not perfection. So, yes, please keep practicing… joining you in prayer and uniting our prayers to Christ’s suffering on the cross.

Indeed, You are the Knowledgeable of the unseen. [5.117] I spoke to them of nothing except that which You ordered me, that you worship Allah, my Lord and our Lord. I witnessed them whilst living in their midst and ever since You took me to You, You have been the Watcher over them. You are the Witness of everything. They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but to them, he (the crucified) had been given the look (of Prophet Jesus). Those who differ concerning him (Prophet Jesus) are surely in doubt regarding him, they have no knowledge of him, except the following of supposition, and (it is) a certainty they did not kill him. [4.158] Rather, Allah raised him up to Him. Allah is Almighty, the Wise.
