I got married a year ago to a Buddhist whom I asked God in a prayer. He needed an eye surgery and since then, my faith was stronger than ever before. It’s just ironic that a Buddhist would lead me back to God. He’s still a Buddhist and I don’t want to force him to change. I just pray everyday for his conversion. Asking for your prayers for his conversion too..

I was married to my husband for 62 yrs then he passed on Nov 10 ,2 yrs this Nov10, I miss him so very much. We had yrs off good life, and we had our differences, but we never vered from our married vows. It was a promise regardless of the certificates that society says we must have. But with Gods help we made it.

It hurts I know. We made it 40 before cancer cut our marriage short due to death.

I was thankful for the Lord that He has given me my husband. He answered my prayer. Our relationship is not bed of roses but we put God in our relationship. Even the up and down of our relationship. We are still together. We lost our child we waited for 12 years. But God had a different purpose for us. But we still together and serve the Lord thru our church and Couples for Christ 😊❤Thank you Father for the sermon that up lift marriages. We are Celebrating our marriage for 29 years now.❤

Thank you Fr Mike every thing is so simple to understand with you . I was crying like a madeleine over that Sunday mass scripture. I didn’t believe that my heart was still in pain even if I knew that was God ‘s will for me . After more that 20 yrs of rejection over a divorce. It’s God himself that I thought I offended. I didn’t get the privilege to make it a convenant with vows but wanted God’s blessing so much . Your talk has make me understand that God’s way to bring us closer to him will never be easy to understand but knowing that all through our life he is with us is so reassuring, comforting and worthy to take any rejection. Stay bless Fr and all of you . I have reached Day 113 for the bible in a year and still enjoying the words of God . Blessings from Australia 🙏💐

Next, your points about how the world views of marriage is not the same way God views marriage. In addition, encouraging us to read Matthew 7. Yes! Thank you very much to those who provided their input. I am going to bring this question to my Priest as I have been a Catholic for 46 years... When I hear something during mass I cannot correlate in the Bible, I have to question its validity, for that is the first and foremost word I follow, God's word... Be blessed everyone.
