Morning! Hope your Fridays are awesome! Excited to see baby Colubrids hatching! Its such an exciting time of the year for us. The next few months are going to be insane with all the babies! Can't wait to share the entire experience with you all! I am feeling okay but very low energy this morning. One of the side effects of this anxiety. Visited the expanded reptarium tonight with my family. 8 of us. The place is even more incredible than before. Staff were all incredible. You guys are the best. My nephew had a blast and so did the rest of us. Keep up all the hard work. Truly a special place. Brain and team are the best.

However I am pointing out that he doesn’t seem to have the same concerns whenever he says something is “dope”. That too (although has other meanings as a noun like “a stupid person” or when used as an informal adjective, “very good” or as a verb “to smear or cover with varnish or other thick liquid.“) also means “a drug taken illegally for recreational purposes, especially cannabis.” It has a drug connection to its meaning, so if he’s not concerned about that, why be concerned about the croc-monitor’s name.

Yay!! It’s baby time in the reptile world once again!! I love it! I love all the babies! All of them are so freaking cute! I get what you are saying about the name - “Baby Kush”. I think that if I was you and everything that you are dealing with, you don’t need anything else negative in your life right now. Or anything that has the possibility of bringing about negative comments or rumours etc, especially if you can do something about it now to head it off. I would avoid the potential negative connotations and I would change the name to Forrest. Which is such a beautiful and perfect name for this amazing creature anyway, but it is also perfect because it came from your friend. That is just my humble opinion but whatever you decide to go with, you know that almost everyone here (except for the trolls!) will have your back, no matter what. 😉
