The Gaston thing really highlights my favorite non-gameplay thing about the game: The characters being funny on accident. I've seen Scar watch Maui do his chest dance and just lay down to chew his bone bored. Ursula coming out of the Ancient's landing tunnel just as Mulan starts doing her training kicks. For some reason Goofy was squaring up to the little skull decor I had. People say the characters feel like they're just shells when they don't have anymore quests but I say you just need to be willing to invent stories with them. That's the REAL magic to DDV

I thought Belle looked a bit different during the trailer. I got used to Belle's character model and I rather like it, but I will wait until the update to see how I'd feel about her new character model. (Also Gaston really be Gaston 😂) A lot of people have brought this up, but I def would love a Prince Adam DreamStyle for the Beast as well someday!

I'm sure I'll get used to it, but the changes to her hair and face are not my favorite at the moment. The shoulders look so much better though.

Saw someone comment this on the trailer and took a look yesterday myself - looks so much better! They seem to try and give her the traditional Pixar-princess face originally (notice how the model is very close to Rapunzel), but more cartoon accurate is definitely they way to go in my opinion!

Senpai, I'm glad you read my comment on your Twitch stream yesterday about the Belle character model change. And then you made a whole video about it. I'm not a major Belle fan, but she's an important character to the community and Disney as a whole. She deserved better, Gameloft recognized that and made some much needed changes. Thanks for giving her the spotlight!

Finally! If they truly fixed ugly Belle, it will be my happiest moment in this game. Belle is one of my fave characters and what they did to her initially was a crime. Belle literally means beautiful… why would they make her so ugly? 😢

I thi k they also slightly altered her dress to be a vit more full and taper outwards towards the base, to better match her original artwork from the beginning of the game

Honestly, as she’s my favorite Disney princess, I think I might be most excited about her redesign than anything else coming in the update! Her original model was horrible and just made me sad. She just wasn’t Belle. From what I’m seeing, she is so much better!

I never liked this Belle, she seems boring with non-feminine features. The new Belle has a smaller nose, not bulbus on the end and her frame is a lot more slender and petite. Her eyes look a lot better.
