8:27 I do agree the smoke is awesome in Horizon 5, although I must say this: I absolutely HATE how some of the AWD vehicles handle with a drift setup. You can throw all the power to the rear, make it 5/95% with all the power the best engine on it can have , it will handle like the Diff settings haven't been touched at all. Probably I am horrible tuning tho

This was actually a problem that happened to everyone on PC? Because I played 200+ hours before they fixed it and I never had a problem with the game crashing. And man, I do love Forza Horizon 4. I got it in a sale on Steam and I fell in love with it. I never understood the hate the hate this game received. There's so many cars from FH4 that need to be added to 5. The Escalade, the Eldorado, the Quartz Regalia and the monster truck version of it, the IMP, the Rover. Man, there's so many cool cars that need to make a comeback. And the improvements that FH5 had over FH4 are incredible.

I never knew that was an issue. I went from Xbox to pc and the only issue I’ve had was the mirrors. I guess my 1660 can’t handle mirrors and if I try and put the graphics on them to anything decent I just crash my entire pc. I’m getting a 3060 in about a week so I can’t wait to max out my graphics

I like Horizon 4 more than 5 to be honest. To me it just has that vibe: the lighting, the weather, the English landscape and the narrow, winding countryside roads. I think I just find Horizon 5 "bland" cause the scenery and weather is similar to the scenery and weather here in the Philippines, bar the desert, sort of, I do live in the only region that has a desert after all. I effectively see Horizon 5 every day and that's what took away it's magic for me sadly. That being said, I hope Horizon 6 takes place in Japan.

Before the game got broken (atleast the steam edition) . It had more players than fh5 . And no its isnt in early 2022 it was during early 2023 . If the issue never happened the game may be more popular .

did you know that they just copy pasted the c6 corvette zr1 from fh4 to fh5... but added a v12... so disappointed that they couldnt add the 6.2 and the 7.2 v8's instead... the "new" cyclone and typhoon have so many more options for tire profile and wheel size, and the c6 corvette is just not supported at all. makes me sad. i no longer play forza

Most cars are in newer games are taken from forza Motorsport 2 which explain so many bad car models in the game like nissan silvia . Also some cars sounds in fh4 are taken from project gothom racing ( That what it is called i think )

1 thing i feel FH4 did far better than FH5 was the cross country racing. Now with cross country, the physics just feel janky and you bottom out way too easily when landing a jump which slows you down a ton.

I played fh4 back in 2021 got it for a christmas gift and then the disc stopped reading after 5 months and got in such a slump didn't deal with any forza stuff until 5 came to gamepass wich got me back into the series, stayed lightly following Reddit and Twitter stuff for 5 and 4 a little bit after the disc stopped reading and just felt sad cause i loved the game so much, never got my data back and decided to say f it and wipe my data and begin again I did and I already owned every single pack and dlc accept the hotwheels pack( wich I intend to get soon) so it's not really the loss of the cars it's more the tunes, designs, and progression lost that Im missing now I'm slowly getting back to where I was but for now it's just completing races and story stuff but I'm gonna complete the game and this time it won't be stopped

I bought forza horizon 4 for my husband on his xbox series s 3 months ago, when he finished the game he came to me and said "hun i cannot play anymore since it says my profile couldnt be verified to the server" so i went to look and i saw many things locked like multiplayer, eliminator and other stuff but then he said to me "I can only play single player and nothing else" So I was concerned and dug deep into the web and nothing was found and now I am wondering how to fix it

If I knew how to explain it properly I'd probably be employed designing maps for games rather than just playing them, but FH4 _feels_ superior to FH5. FH5 may be bigger, but FH4 feels perhaps more cohesive? More like a connected world? FH5 feels like disjointed. I miss the FH4 heyday (and it still crashes continually for me on PC).

FH5 is mostly desert with a bit of woodlands in it, cause that's just what Mexico is sadly, and the weather is just sunny, rainy and then the occasional sandstorms. FH4 has a vibe to it that I just couldn't find in FH5, could be the lighting, and I guess I just loved speeding through the English countryside.

Seeing fh4 again really puts into perspective how shity the fh5 map is as a whole. There’s some good roads for sure but on average it’s so boring. The rally expansion is incredible. Mexico map should’ve looked like that from the beginning. They missed what could been a super cool map

Forza horizon 4 has a big issue in PC that it only launch in ethernet connection or wired connection. It crashes when launching with wifi. Please some one help me if they solve this issue.

Fh4 differences between fh5 is nothing more then a graphics overhaul(it just looks a lot better graphics wise) a physics overhaul(trees and rocks breaking, car damage, and how your fov changes as you speed up) a vfx(smoke, reflections, lights) overhaul and better cars. Fh4 feels more alive with falling leaves dust in the air mud on the cars needing a second for water to wash it off and seasons is 100% better then the occasional sand storm or rainstorm in the jungle. The dlcs in 4 are equal to 5s hotwheels beats lego and fortune island beats that off-roading rally dlc. I also prefer the night time of 4 over 5 and how night in 5 last like 8 minutes but day last for an hour. There are some things that 5 beats 4 in and that’s drag areas and very long highways, npc ai, and the customization in 5 is much better then 4.

i've had this thirst for some good racing games to play. my pc isn't that powerful, i can't really run these games on max or maybe even medium settings properly, but i just miss being able to drive around and feel like i'm progressing through things and unlocking new and cool stuff, man. i bought the crew 2 on the summer sale, played for about 17 hours and got sick and tired of it because it's such a meaningless, boring grindfest. not to mention the game just feels intentionally annoying and inconvenient, like i'm playing a gacha game in the shape of a racing game. i've only played fm4 and fh1 back in my xbox days, is it worth it to get into fh4 *now* when fh5 is getting so much new content and, well, the new games are getting ever closer? i always feel a bit unsure with these things, because maybe i would've enjoyed tc2 more if i hadn't bought it at essentially the end of its runtime before the crew motorfest comes around, so i'm really uncertain. i'm also never sure if i'll be able to dedicate the amount of time that these games expect me to in order to unlock everything and complete every event and stunt and so on...
