The reason I Don't like the Rwanda plan is because for every illegal immigrant we deport we are forced to accept one Rwandan. So at the end of the day we are still increasing our numbers with foreigners who will most likely be a drain on the public purse. Turning the boats back is a far better and cheaper solution.

Therein lies the problem, most are relegated to be back-benchers. There are still a number of MPs from all parties that try to put people and constituency before whatever their leadership demand via their respective whips! Bridgen is a good example, David Amess was another until he was murdered. Labour's Margaret Beckett was also a straight-shooter. It seems we would be far better served by a coalition of people-first candidates regardless of party.
