3:53 and 7:51 I think these scenes are such a good representation of how good of a read the Captain has on people. He knows when his teammates need to just work things out on their own, and that is why he doesn't let Tanaka interfere. The first years need to discuss what their issues are and figure things out without the senpais telling them exactly how to do things. He knows this is best for their growth

The pacing of the first 9-10 episodes is amazing. The fact that "the match" is never the focus, but the relationships and the characters in the begining of this show is key to its success. It makes you want to watch the next one and the next one and the next one. Meanwhile you get to know the characters without noticing. Sure these episodes are about Hinata and Kageyama but we get insight into Tanaka Suga and Daichi as well behind the scenes.

A few other notes I had: - the King's toss isn't one that goes backwards. That's actually quite common. The King's toss is one that goes insanely fast and doesn't care about if the spikers can get to it. - Daichi is a good receiver, but you can only cover so much court in a 3v3, and lots of times you end up being the only one there to receive - the dodging move Hinata did where he went from one end of the court to the other is a real thing. It's not common, especially in 6v6, but it does occasionally happen

the great thing about this show is that all of the main members of the team have their moments in the spotlight, not just Shoyo and Kageyama, so excited for you to get to those parts
