Goddam!!! That ending was a kick in the nuts as well as the most glorious ending for a soldier in a hopeless scenario!! Sacrificing themselves to save as many as humanly possible, and I guarantee that every single Marine fought to the very last breath as the juke fell, not one of them tried to cut and run in a futile attempt to live. They would all have had evil grins on their faces as the juke dropped, overjoyed at taking so many of the enemy with them, as ALL soldiers, no matter where from would do and feel!! Bloody good story, hoping to hear some more from you, especially with this character and his today amongst the humans! Well done!

The talent of the author is truly awesome. To be able to take a full movie worth of plot, detail, character development, action, and drama, all worthy of a feature length movie or a moderately long novel and condense it into a narration easily fitting into the time needed to eat lunch in the break room, and retain a level of description that paints a vivid picture in the listeners mind, and enough suspense that it left a crowded break room silent other than the narrators voice, all delivered in a way that it stirs emotions in spite of it being a work of fiction. I have never had much interest in science fiction. I've read a couple of the Halo based novels, found them to be interesting, well written works but not compelling enough to draw me into the entire series. This video however may have me revisiting that franchise. If more of this epic level story telling defines what they have to offer I will be truly impressed.

The resiliency of the United States Marines is legendary. Once, in the Korean conflict. Many were retreating their position because of the numerous enemy forces. But when the Marines showed up. They quoted a short defiant response. RETREAT HELL!! They fought with tenacity that many of the enemy avoided the conflict altogether. Semper Fidelis❤❤❤❤
@grimbo737 ай бұрын
The origin of that quote is from WWI...Belleau Wood...mentioned in Battle Los Angeles....
@kdrapertrucker7 ай бұрын
When the U.S. Marines and a few U.S. Army units, the first into France marched for the front out of Paris they ran into the routed British and French troops in full retreat for Paris, several French and English officers told the Marine officers they should retreat with them to Paris. The Marine commanders reaction was "Retreat hell! We Just got here" they met the Germans at belleau woodland stopped them cold for several days, then Gunny Sargent Dan Daly, seeing his Marines exhausted, ordered his Marines to attack standing up and charging while Yelling " You Want To Live Forever!" The Marines charged and completely routed the Germans who started referring to them as Devil Dogs.

lol goes to show that since this is created by AI, even uses female as always the higher figure head or playing the biggest role. its probably doing it based on this algorithm going around with feminism plastered in every media out there especially in movies. why i say this? i been binge watching similar story like this and its always the female leading role. though not the main MC but in the fantasy world the female is either the president or the galactic admiral, bla bla and so on.
