Hey Ermz I'm not much of a sim racer, so I dont know if this will be all that helpfull but I did note that in a previous video you said that the movement of the cars chasis in first person was distracting. I foud out that is you go to >options >camera > camera: driver you can turn down the Inertia strength to remove chasis movement. You can also check the box that "Allows modification of seat adjustments" to well move the position of the seat. Hope this helps.

There is a mod for the Bolide that adds in adjustable Aero, and with the rear wing cranked you can see the entire wing bending from the weight of the downforce. It also shoved my car down so hard her chin was dragging along the pavement even at max ride height and max suspension stiffness.

Funny thing is that the vanilla rally config works surprisingly well as a rallycross car with some setup tweaks, if you set front power lock to 100% (that is likely not 100% locked in the files) and rear to about 35 if i remember correctly, then lock the center "diff", raise and soften it and either reduce or remove the sway bars, it pulls out of corners really well, there's ofc more tweaking to it but i was very surprised how the geometry behaves haha

@@_blood_moon_proto_1500 yes fully vanilla, not sure how i would share a tune trough a comment, but im not on my pc right now so can't share it today anyways, You definitely want longer gears for pikes peek than what I have now, it's made for short rallycross tracks so the top speed is only 200kph :P

Well I usually drive rally cars (sunburst/ pessima) but I've tried running same GT3 Scintilla on Nurburg and managed to do 6:56 on controller. Guess I'll stick with rally cars :D Can't wait for what you will come up with next! Love your BeamNG content! Hope you do some proper rally content once the new Covet releases :) Like Itally Behemoth or something (part of Italy Rally Time Trial mod) :D

I’ve actually started doing the 4-6 hour endurance races on Iracing for the vln layout of Nurburgring combined and it is a blast, definatly not fast but been doing alright in the 992 Porsche cup car, 99% sure watching your endless Nurburgring vids helped me learn the track fast so keep it up and can’t wait for the next one

i tried driving this thing and it absolutely was undrivable with the stock configuration. it felt like it had zero downforce, which is funny that my automation creations have better balance than an official beam car.

The GT3 class race cars should all be equipped with 6-speed sequential, as according to the specs of the class for racing. The Scintilla does have a 7-speed dual clutch trans, but that's only for the roadgoing variants.

I think I need to try this version. I've tried several vanilla versions of the Scintilla, and I struggle to get further on the track than with the Barstows (never mind trying to finish a lap) Did a sub 11 minute time with the base v8 Barstow that Ermz always drives though 😁 PS. iirc, the car's body panels/exterior don't affect aero/downforce in beamng, only the front and rear wings do (unless the game has been updated to do that within the last 3 years or so. though, i haven't noticed any difference). i do know an older game that *does*. iirc it hasnt been updated in many many years tho; rigs of rods.
