Great sale - thanks for taking us along and talking through why you decided what to keep and what to not buy. That dog planter was so cute! Looking forward to your next video 😊

Love the format! Especially how you showed comps (and changed the music) as you went along looking at different things.

Thank you so much Ann! And, glad you enjoyed the tuba music for sold comps! It was "different." I'm always having fun trying out new things in my videos and music is one of them. Thanks for joining us!

What a wonderful video! I loved going along with you both and vicariously enjoyed the thrill of the hunt. You made some wonderful purchases. I loved how you shared your comp research even for the items that were similar. I hope to see the items you bought today in an upcoming what sold video soon.

Thank you Pat! Thanks for joining us! I hope we have more sales too from these finds. We are long-term sellers so it could take awhile. Thanks!

I think containers that have the owners name on the bottom can mean they took that dish to church or socially a lot filled with food to share so they put their name on it to make sure they get it back.

I always pick up those car repair manuals. Even if they aren't in perfect condition. They are a good bread and butter item because theres always going to be cars breaking down and people trying to fix them. Plus, they don't take up a lot of room to store them.
@AvanteAvenue Жыл бұрын
I've had some others and they never sold; thus why I don't know why I picked this one up. Isn't it the much older ones that sell better? Thanks Lori!

Love the video. Catching up on videos this morning on this 100 degree day. I just purchased a replacement knob for my percolator off of Ebay. I've been using my percolator coffee pot daily for 30 years now. I definitely would have picked that up!

Thank you Laura! Hot, hot, hot there! Whew! See, I knew there are buyers out there fore percolator knobs! Thanks!

Wonderful! Join us any time. Not only don't you have to store the items, you don't have to clean them, research, photograph and list them! LOL. Thanks Carla!

I was worried you weren’t going to buy the brass quail set, glad you got it!

I love to find brass to resell! I was surprised though how much these had sold for. Too bad I only have three. Thanks!

Great. Idea…glad to see more of Mark! These prices are amazing…I live on the fringe of an affluent area, average household income is 150k, and the church sale prices reflect that…and oddly enough, the items are not that great! Not nearly as good as what you found. Can’t Get a cap around here for less than 6.99, same for t shirts.
@AvanteAvenue2 ай бұрын
Thank you, Karen. Much more of "Mark" is the next video! I laughed when I read about the "not so great" items found at the 150K "area" Church sale. When we did interior design for clients, some lived in gated communities but decorated their houses on the cheap....

I spy one of my listings! Vintage Proctor and Gamble Metal tin canister, Lol. Cute, but I've had it over 2 years. Would not pick up again. 😐
@AvanteAvenue Жыл бұрын
That's fun! I do understand, though....there are many thing I won't pick up again. That's how we learn "what not to buy." Thanks!
