I started my 38 year old son cruising when he was nine months old and he is still cruising. For myself I am a Princess gal but definitely would like to take my 17 month old grandson on a royal ship..What fun Noa had and thats the name of the game I want for my grandson. Thanks guys good video🚢🙂

I loved the icon! I like oasis class as well but i felt everything was just a notch above. Especially if you go to the spa and thermal suite

I enjoyed your review very much…..& your lovely family! I live in miami…..so i have been on a few cruises….. i have sailed on the Icon….& Utopia….i found them both to be a lot of fun! I guess i preferred Utopia somewhat better……it’s slightly smaller! I can say my experiences on RC have been pretty spectacular! There was so much fun to do……i don’t have young children, so i can understand that royal does appeal to those youngsters…… but i found there was something for everyone! Keep up the good work…..it was overhyped funtastic!

I saw your eyes light up when you ate that pretzel bite! lol I'll have extra cheese sauce, please. I've seen a lot of food options in videos of Icon. I found Wonder of the Seas to be a little overwhelming, but I really loved it. It was a super LOUD ship and I found that noise from different venues bled into one another. I liked it sometimes and not others. I found my places that I hung out, like The Mason Jar with those nice granny rocking chairs. You can find quiet if you want to on any of these ships. I'm very excited to go on Icon, but I'm also excited to go on Celebrity Equinox, which I understand is a smaller, older ship. Variety is great! Take what you like and leave the rest.

Icon is absolutely beautiful! Sailed on her in December...the sail away party was the most energetic that I have ever experienced on Royal or on Carnival. Everyone on the Lido deck, including The Hideaway, was rockin'!

My daughter and I were on the Icon over Halloween. This ship is a destination of its own. Yes there are a lot of people on board but you can easily avoid them if you want a quieter time. The sail away was great, the shows were amazing, the food was good and we had a great time. I would recommend this ship highly. Also I lost my phone I went to guest services they found my phone and I had it back in 20 mins. Loved this ship.

Just in case you didn’t know when you let the door shut on its own it slams and your neighbors can definitely hear it. I’m so surprised how many people let it slam. It’s frustrating when you’re sleeping in the morning or taking a nap. Maybe people don’t realize how loud it actually is.

We sailed on it back in March. We were the first sailing at full capacity. Our biggest issue is the lack of parenting. There were tons of teens running around causing trouble. Other than that..the food was awesome and the ship is gorgeous. I was surprised at how much the ship moved though

Just for you guys telling the truth and suspecting what I always thought, overcrowding can cause problems and disruptions on your cruise. But if the cruise ship is that big, you're more than likely less susceptible to running into problems with other people besides y'all had a nice group of people. Look I love Royal Caribbean ships especially their big ships. I sailed on September 2024 for 7 days in a balcony cabin and it was impressive, the food was the best ever, not so much for their deserts but they try to limit sugar. The ship is amazing, simply the very best thing floating. This ship is not overhyped and I did not feel crowded at all...

I really enjoyed ICON and would sail again but the prices are too rich for me now. I can wait a bit. I did find the ship busy, but I never felt it was overcrowded. I always found a spot to be. I do agree with the noise, not that the ship was loud like Utopia, it just lacked quiet spaces like a card room or library so you always had piped in music or live music. The big plus was the live music. Super varied and VERY good, more than I could have ever expected. All the entertainment was great. A+ ship for me, even as a senior.

I agree with you about the lack of quiet space. I wanted to make a phone call and could not find one quiet place. My husband was asleep in the cabin so that was out. Finally ended up in the Overlook. We loved the ship and all Royal had to offer.

I don’t think it’s overhyped at all. There’s a lot of things to do there for families for adults and kids, but even though you complaining, I guarantee you’re going to go back to Royal Caribbean cruise.
