There is in fact a more elaborate coaster, not Mario themed, but there's both the 2018 Creator Expert Roller Coaster (which is just over 4000 pieces) and the 2022 Loop Coaster (which is around 3700 pieces) They're both super impressive and use these coaster pieces to great effect!

Ice levels can be done perfectly well, and have some impactful set dressing for scenes. Or you get a gauntlet of being frozen with inverted controls and 0 traction.

There actually are a couple of big LEGO rollercoaster sets that they've released that you would probably really enjoy, I think the latest one is called the Loop Coaster. It would be super cool to see you make a video about something like that in the future if you're interested, these LEGO videos are always so much fun.

Fun thing about Conkdor... they're one of the few enemies that lends credence to the idea that Koopa shells are manufactured, and not natural. I could go on and on, but the fact that Conkdors wear shells is a big indicator. They're obviously birds, but as PBG said, they're also "koopas." It's in the same way that classic Rocky Wrenches wear shells. They were originally "Mole-like Koopas," but were retconned into being a Monty Mole variation. Yet in Mario Maker, they're still wearing shells! In Mario Kart, shells are disposable. And you dispose of a lot of them! Even Bowser Shells are plentiful, and also disposable. We've seen Koopas talk about their shells as if they're clothing. They can take them off, as we see commonly with Beach Koopas. Bowser can buy upgraded shells in RPG games. And there's even classic art of Koopa Troopas shopping for new shells. The biggest piece of evidence, aside from Mario Kart, is Jr Troopa, from Paper Mario 64. He's presumably a baby Koopa Troopa who still wears his eggshell fragments. And? He has no shell. His body is completely bare, aside from his eggshell and shoes. This means that Koopa Troopas are not born with shells on. Anyway, long story short, Conkdors are cool because they definitely aren't Koopas, but they wear shells anyway. I wish more non-Koopa members of Bowser's army would wear Koopa shells. Really rooting for Rocky Wrenches to get them back.

How much I like ice levels depends heavily on how slippery the surfaces in them are. No slippery surfaces or ways to negate the slipperiness makes them very high up for me, but so often ice levels feel the need to completely mess up your muscle memory with slippery surfaces and I hate that.
