I was genuinely afraid of how you will react to this game - the lampshading following every PM fan is grand, making us so desperate to share our passion, yet aware that the UI, complexity, niche-ness and vagueness of these games is something you ought to grow attached to, before you fall in love. Yet, you performed just fine! The genuine investment was just so heartwarming. Sure, the game will be getting harder, but you are figuring stuff that is not diretly spelled out in manual or tutorial in brisk pace - we have high hopes for you, Manager! I will not lie, saying that in late games you can make a perfectly calm day go from 0 to 100 in a split second, even with entire wiki opened on the other monitor. Ah, for the cutscenes - don't feel like rushing them. For now they seem random and completely unrelated, but if you take time to listen, you'll see how despite the happy music, the tone, the topics, and the situations grow... heavier. You will be confused - yet, when puzzles start to click, that's where the gate opens. EVERYTHING has a meaning. YES, even the "a b c" question. This game is SO MUCH MORE than just a "SCP management sim," and the depth goes far beyond. "Oh, this place is actually horrible!"... And she will be watching.

To explain the 'Sephirot Memory Synchronization' thing, certain things carry over when you use the Memory Repository function, be it to the last checkpoint or back to Day 1. No one beats this game their first run blind, game's way to unkind and complex for that lol. Really hope you manage to make it at least to Day 10! There's a ton of lore to this and it's sequential titles in the series, Project Moon's a small studio made up of a bunch of literature nerds and it really shows in their writing! Really hope you enjoy the game! Also, the game only saves once you reach the 'Preparation Screen', most people learn this the hard way lol! Welcome to Lobotomy Corporation, Manager!

This might be one of my favorite playthroughs so far, its really exciting seeing someone who isnt afraid to take losses and is willing to play things out, the only time id suggest retrying is After everything is settled and if most of your best are dead. That way you get to see everything an abnormality does during its breach. Way too many players just retry the moment one dies and they often miss when cool things happen. Hope you continue to enjoy the game!

I guess a rule of thumb is that you want to try and identify the target abnormality's risk level if you haven't got it revealed yet, and then pick an agent with a level equal to that. Level 2 for Teth for example, level 3 for He, and so on. That's the best it's gonna get when going blind.

As someone who found Lob Corp and other PM games not that long ago I really hope you will make more videos or streams of this game as it's really good. Like some others have said I also recommend not skipping the visual novel tidbits as the lore gets actually quite nice the deeper you are in.

This was fun to watch! I have to fight the urge to backseat game, since I played the hell out of this for a long while. The only thing I'll say is that research and mission completion is saved at the end of the day, so if you have to sacrifice everything to complete a mission then its a great time to reset. Resseting days is pretty much a requirement. The unlock benefits from completing missions can be huge.

@NPC-bs3pm i would say the gameplay is just part of it being liked - unique, complex gameplay isn't a thing you see often on gaming market nowadays. But the story is not a generic dating sim, either: the scenes grow heavy, serious, disturbing, but... relatable. Sephira reflect things they struggle with: Malkuth' desperate need to keep things in control, or.. do you think Yesod is ok? The symbollic part of kaballah tree reflecting minds on its way to perfection and whole lot of details showing through amazing worldbuilding itself. And, my favourite part: ludonarrative aspect. At first, things in lab are curious, easy, as Angela praises you and cheers you on. But as cracks are exposed, the words become unnerving, while gameplay matches it naturally - and you start feeling that all of this may be just too much to handle... But you have to persevere. There is reason. There is goal.

The explanation for the unlock of the health bars, if I'm not wrong, is that you are supervising using cameras with a filter, and another group will develop the sensors suits. It's different for a character to verify their health with an medic of sorts befora job than a in real time tasmition of health and hormonal (sanity) paramenters. But don't quote me, I may be wrong.

I played this game on a whim when it came out, and like most new players, had no idea what to expect. I think you will enjoy the game the most if you learn to play your own way and avoid comments for backseating. The fanbase for this game and the others by its developers are... a bit overzealous at times, and can end up harming your experience. Always hear people talking about how good this game is, but I could never understand what was going on at all. This is the first time I actually enjoy watching a playthrough of this game. I appreciate the thorough, easy to understand explanations. Looking forward to more of this series. And I know it's definitely not going to be his cup of tea and he probably won't play it, but I'd love to see him play the sequel, Library of Ruina, just to see his reaction to the story.

I think there’s a better way to explain the way the difficulty increase… Every new abnormalities has the potential to hinder your momentum, or worse, down right softlock you (intentionally). And if your softlocked, the game won’t help other than by reminding you : “You can restart to the last checkpoint 4 days ago. Maybe you won’t mess up this time” If you don’t know what SCP your taking in the facility, you cannot plan and prevent some highly problematic situations. To give an instance of how hard it can get…Consider that, depending of your situation, has the potential to softlock your game… Yes, SOFTLOCK. For instance, if one abnormally is required to be repressed regularly but an other one, not just dangerous but just… ”¥$?}{%#’$~

The machine appears to be some sort of SCP-914 You crank yourself in "very fine" and then you get to have super human physical abilities until your heart gives out and you end up as a puddle of goo.

I just love listening to him read/voice act the anomaly descriptions especially at 2:27:32 really brings life to the game but the SickoMode music and sound effects help too 😂

I got so excited when I saw this video. This is my favorite game of all time, so many people skip Lobotomy Corporation and go straight to the sequel, but this game is so good and it's so worth experiencing in full, even if the game is difficult. It's all part of the experience.

As a native Hebrew speaker, it took me nearly 2 hours into the video to realize nearly every name and term in the game is in Hebrew. Hod, Yesod and Malkuth translate to Glory, Foundation and Kingdom, part of the 10 Sephirot (emanations) in the Jewish Kabbalah, which are aspects of God materialized in the physical realm. (Fun fact, Keter in SCP is also one of the Sephirot, meaning Crown). The classification levels are Zayin, Teth, Heh, Waw and Aleph, which are the 7th, 9th, 5th, 6th and 1st letters in the Hebrew alphabet, respectively. The tabs in the prep phase are Asiyah, Briah, and Atzilut, meaning Action, Creation and Emanation respectively, 3 of the 4 Kabbalistic worlds or plains of existence. Not sure if the devs just decided Kabbalistic terms sound mysterious and fitting for the game or if there's a deeper meaning here.
