For merch ideas, plushies would definetly be a good starting point while having the added bonus of nipping the bootlegs in the bub. Cool stickers of the 2D designs of your characters would also be really cool. And since your making posters of the characters to put in game, physical copies of the in game posters could also be really cool. And later down the road, you might wanna do more character centric items. Like a red bandana with the indigo park logo on it for Rambley, a small toy version of Molly's air plane, etc. The idea behind these items is that they could have been sold at gift shops in the actual game.

Since you’re planning on having a shorter first chapter, I recommend calling it either a prologue or Chapter Zero. Making it a prologue and tutorial will help everyone understand it but there should also be a hook by the end. I’d recommend checking out the demo for Backbone (Renamed “Tails Noir”, as Backbone Prologue introduces the main character, gameplay elements, environment, and ends with a strong hook that gets you interested in seeing the rest.

I'm so hyped, i loved reincarnated. You really inspire me, you showed me that anyone can make games. You just decided to learn coding one day and now your making your own indie game. Also, i hope there's alot of voice lines. You mentioned portal, and one of my favorite things about it is just how much dialogue there is. Like just hidden dialogue for doing certain things. Like if you actually jump into one of Wheatley's traps he gets surprised. Or those certain bits where he just talks alot and if you stay there he'll continue talking. I love the dialogues in portal and stuff like it, like stanley parable. I can't wait to see how the game turns out.

My favorite type of merch is something that feel like it could come from the setting it self. Which for a mascot horror set in a theme park would be really easy. I want to own the character key-chains or those 2 sided Rambly shirts I see in the Gift-shops in the game, maybe a racoon ear headband or hat based on the classic Mickey-ear ones. Something that people in-universe could have bought back when the park was still open.

Announcement trailer released... then boom, knockoff merchandise. It's best to sell shirts and other good ones if you release Chapter 2, and once you fully complete Indigo Park... you can sell an official plushie about the funni ourple Rambley the Racoon, and must be a collab from a official plush selling site like Makeship!!! (Just like how you sell your own plushie) I hope you're doing well on finishing Chapter 1's progress, as it could be really peak indie horror territory right there. Unreal Engine is a great program for this game (and its canceled "Garten of Banban Reincarnated"), that it's legitimately worth using in 3D (and 2D) game development. (Because Unity is falling off recently) Go wishlist Indigo Park, everybody!! Questions that you answered are great ones. I'm so glad that JakeNeutron and RecD are in the game's music department!!

I'm really hyped for your game, something that i've never felt for a indie horror game before. So, I believe that you are doing your best to deliver the best game you can! Just one concern... Look a bit outside the indie mascot horror game scene, look at other scary horror games and please pay attention to the gameplay! I feel like most mascot horror games forget that there needs to be interesting unique gameplay! Three things friends would like to see in chapter 2, and more of indigo Park’s development. 1. Object interactions (So we can mingle with the simple things in the park. Examples: Soda🥤 Machines, Trash cans, and Fast food check out pads. 2. More characters and environments to explore in the park since the next chapter will be long then the Demo and first one. 3. Longer hours of gameplay to make the Indie Horror game Wall of fame. Example (4 hours of gaming). Hopefully, we can make it happen together Mason Myers! Prepare yourself!

here's my two cents regarding merch: if you ever get big enough for merch, produce everything we see in the giftshops, the designs are already there, they can tie the merch into the game, and we can play while wearing something we might have picked up at the park
